Triund is best place to start trekking but do complete the full trek of 9 km and do camp at top.

As far as trek is concerned Triund is the better option whereas Chopta is famous for its lush green beauty and panoramic view. Triund trek starts off in a group and you can approach a guide. It's of approximately 8kms where you finally reach a beautiful temple at the top. camping is a must to enjoy at top. Snow will not be available in this season so to add onto beauty you can try this trek in the month of Dec-March

Thanks for the suggestion🥰🥰🥰🥰
I suggest Triund because from the top of Triund, you can see the majestic view of Himalayan range. However, trek only after monsoon as currently trekking on Triund is closed due to heavy rains.

Hi Vijit, Triund is a shorter trek and is a good option if it is your first trek, you should go for it. However if you want something more you should definitely head out to Chandrashila, it is a 3 day trek covering Deorita-Chopta-Tungantha and Chandrashila. You will see beautiful meadows, snow capped peaks of Uttrakhand, you will visit world's highest Shiva temple and the pleasure of summiting Chandrashila and have this amazing view.

The months of May-June & September-October are thebest time to visit this place as it is very pleasant here during these months. It can get pretty chilly here in winters and the summer season is a great time to come here to escape the scorching heat of the cities.
Triund is the best place

Itz a good trek for beginners. itz only 8-9 km. and view from the top is amazing. dont book any package online for that. in mcleodganj u ll find camps on truind just rs. 500 per head. and u can get meal at 150 rs. only on top.
