In July Mount Abu will be best. Its about 6 hours away from Udaipur. Otherwise all three locations are great for a 2-3 day trip during winters. Too hot now.

Hi Jay, Trisha is right, all three cities will be too hot right now. Although, if you are flexible with the dates then I'd say wait for the first rainfall and then visit Udaipur. The City of Lakes is an absolute beauty after the rains. Lake Pichola is bubbling with water. Sajjangarh Palace, also known as Monsoon Palace, is surrounded by greenery. Even the surrounding hills are clad in green. A 3-day trip is ideal of Udaipur as it gives you two days to explore attractions in and around Udaipur and one day to visit Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Jain Temple. If you are not flexible then Mt. Abu, Polo Forest and Dang Forest are cooler alternatives.

Bagol Palace (Rs. 399), Vinayak Hotel (Rs. 499), Hotel Kanchan Palace (Rs. 750) and Hotel Lake Paradise (Rs. 900). All rates are per night for a double bedroom and subject to change without notice.
For July, best would be Jaipur. The place offers forts, amazing market areas for shopping, good food and beautiful hotels.

In my opinion Udaipur or Jodhpur both are good. Jaipur will be my last on the list.
