Spiti is always the best, if you have time for at least a week. rest I would suggest teerthan valley instead of kasol.

If you want adventure filled stuffs then by self or if you want easy way access then through the agency

Both are good..it's completely depends on your budget !! But if you have no issues about your budget, then go for Spiti !!!
