Namaste!
You must visit safe and secure places and not very off beat location because when you are travelling first time you don't have enough confidence and experience. For example try to visit city area like Haridwar, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Mussoorie because these are city area where you will find a lot of travellers and people. You will get hotel, hostel, Dharmshala etc very easily. You will get confidence and gather experience later on you can go mid to high terrain. The above cities I have given as example you can select any such safe and secure cities. While doing solo travelling please keep some safety measure and things with you. I hope this will help you. Thanks
Try Nainital and offbeat places around it. Very simple and decent people lives out here and is very safe for women. Thanks

And have road side pani put as well rolls .
Look up nag tibba trek. it's a weekend trek from Delhi. if you have time, add a day or two to make it comfortable, but if not, it can be managed in a weekend
Yeah, it will be open. Now travelling to Kashmir is more safer and secure than earlier. For further comple details of location and other needful you may visit Kashmir tourism official website. Happy travelling.
Hi Gurpreet,
Kashmir is open to tourists now. December to February is the best time to visit Kashmir in winter. While maximum temperature occasionally touches 10 degrees Celsius the minimum temperature comes down to -8 degrees Celsius. The weather in Kashmir during winters is pleasant and surroundings become duskier and the bone-chilling cold can make you numb.
Pack warm clothes. Happy traveling.
Hi Jyoti
The e-pass seems booked fully for the allotted duration allowed by court. I dont think an e-pass can be obtained now from site. However if you can connect some operators in Rishikesh. they may help, not sure about it. Also keep an eye on the latest update as Uttarakhand Govt filing an interim plea in Uttarakhand High Court, seeking increase in daily number of pilgrims. If this is granted instantly can book your e-pass on site. Though I am also keeping an eye on it and will update once I get the news. Thank You See You on the Road...👌👌 Thank You
You can hire a taxi or may hire a bike also. All transportation are in very reasonable price. You may visit few view points, & nearby areas such as tea garden, Bhimtal, Sattal, Nakuchiyatal etc.

Hi John, You will have to visit the official website at tirumala.org and check the availability. Once booked you can visit the temple. Please take a print out for ease. The prints are checked at tirupati gate and then up in tirumala as well. Don't think they have yet started giving out tickets on arrival.
