Hi twinkle, it purely depends on whether you are travelling solo or group and number of days. Costing will differ hugely if you travel solo unless you are a person who can adjust. Other than Shimla and Manali, Tirthan Valley is less explored. Jibhi, Jalori, Barshaini so many places. The other side of Bir and Dharmshala is great place too, you can go up towards Kangra Valley and Dalhousie too.

Yes it is totally worth it Dudhsagar falls is the main attraction, apart from that you have tambada surla Mahadev temple ,bhagwan mahavir wildlife sanctuary, trek spots , farms and many smaller water falls. you need to have this as one of the recommended place in checklist
