There are many parties and celebrations in Udaipur on New Year and few of the options are Ramada Udaipur, Justa Sajjangarh, Jagmandir Island etc. There are many other lake side restaurants / cafes that will host the NYE celebrations.

Kapaleeshwarar
Parthasarathy temple
Mangadu and Thiruverkadu both are nearby
Mylapore temples like Velleshwarar, karneeshwarar, mundakani Amman temple, kolavizhi amman temple. These temples are around Kapaleeshwarar so when you plan visiting you can cover these temples too. Marundeeshwarar, Madhya Kailash are some temples towards adyar side. While Vadapalani Murugan temple is on Poonamallee side. When you travel to mahabalipuram you can cover Adyar theosophical society,dakshinachitra , Cholamandalam artist village.Dakshinachitra is huge so with senior citizens just plan for two hours inside the premises. Coming to beaches you can plan for Marina sunrise and Besant Nagar beach sunset. It’s Carnatic music season time in chennai so if possible you can view one Kutchery either in Narda gana Sabha or Music academy who have comfortable seatings, but cost of ticket might be high. So if you are planning for Carnatic music program book online prior. Don’t forget to taste best food in woodlands, komalas, Mylapore Karpagam mess, Sangeetha, Arya Bhavan. Shopping at mylapore Mada street is easy when you travel with senior citizens. Other areas are parry’s corner, Ranganathan street t nagar and Pondy bazaar. With rains till December mid better to carry rain wears plus some sweaters for oflate chillness is seen in the city.

AnswerWishlistYes. I personally feel when we travel abroad, than relying on Wi-Fi connections it’s better to buy that place local sim. My thought upto you totally. Dhiraagu cards and ooredoo are local Maldives sim cards. Kindly check them before buying.

from Delhi you can get a direct bus till dehradun then from dehradun you can get another bus to mussoorie .. for 2 people you can get a normal decent hotel in around 2500 to 3000 for 2 days your fare from Delhi to dehradun will be around 500 per person in a normal bus so around 2500 rupees will be the fare for the 2 sides for 2 person ..
rest your meal for 2 days and local transport for 2 people .. .. total for your trip atleast you should carry around 10000 rupees with yourself
rest maybe you can finish this trip between 8 to 10 thousands

Starting with Konark sun temple, Konark beach, astaranga beach, Kork beach, Konark museum, Navagraha mandir and sunset at Ramachandi beach plus mandir. From Konark 1 hour away is puri. So next day after tasting some yummy Konark delicacies you could start your journey towards Puri. Popularly called as Sri Kshetra place on the day of arrival you should plan your visit to Sri Jagannatha temple, Markandeswara temple, Lakshmi temple and Lokanath temple. Next day drive to Pipli a popular handicraft village, then on return stop at Daya river, Raghurajpur artist village. Don’t miss out on yummy Oriya cuisine in the afternoon. Evening you could check out stop by Puri beach, Swargadwar beach, Balighai beach taste best street food and if you have time you could stop by Alarnatha temple and head back to Bhuvaneshwar. UpvoteCommentTrivandrum is well connected part of Kerala, that be from any part of India reaching is easy. You need 2 days to explore best parts of Trivandrum. From Trivandrum Alleppey is 4 hours drive. So best picturesque are seen in Alleppey. Two days is much needed here. From Alleppey Munnar is 4 hours away. Munnar is a very popular tourist spot of Kerala with best weather and greenery now. Spending two days here you could head to Kumarakom which is 4 hours away. You need a day here and proceed towards vagamon which is 2 hours away. From vagamon you can drive back to Trivandrum. Another route you could try is from Trivandrum head towards Kochi which is 5 hours away. Spend 2 days in Kochi, then head towards Poovar which is another 5 hours ride. Spend two days and proceed towards Idukki, from here Nelliampathi is 5 hours away. From here vythiri is 6 hours drive. Since driving time is more here but spots are too beautiful up to you to decide. Every above mentioned spot needs one and half hour day to explore and other half day to travel. Mere suggestion I have given, sure there are other travellers who might guide you much better in the forum.
