I have been to Hornbill and its amazing. My suggestion will be that go towards the end of the festival. Its full of culture, performances, food, happy faces all around. You can spend 2days in the festival which takes place in Kisama village and then also cover Imphal: Loktak and Kangla if you wish to.. You will get few Dzukou travellers too but trust me Dzukou is best to be visited in Jul-Sep.

It is absolutely safe to travel solo there, even for a lady. It is a great festival, lots of cultural extravaganza.Yes it is safe to travel solo but make sure you are staying at Nagaland Tourism approved Hotel. (You can find it Nagaland tourism’s website)

If you go to goa
then you must visit aguada fort, ashwem beach and vagator beach, Chapel of St. Francis Xavier Basilica of Bom Jesus and obviously dont forget to taste konkan cusine of goa,
for stays if you stay near callangut beach
it will be easy to visit baga beach and candoli beach which are nearby and it will be a single road till the ashwem beach and vagator beach including anjuna beach also which can be a plus point to save time and in callangut beach you will get well maintained ac rooms at lower charges for night life and beach shaks baga beach is the best
UpvoteCommentTry water sporting and partying at any of the North Goa beaches which have an electrifying vibe in them while south Goa beaches are soothing and secluded beaches. Talking about the hotels go for any guest house near beach the cost will be roughly 3000-5000 per night, I'd highly recommend you to check oyo, they have good price listing. Search for an Oyo near some good beaches may be Baga Beach or Vagator Beach or Calangute Beach. Hope this helped!

Reach Chennai From Andhra Then Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Pondichery- (Chidambaram, Thanjavur & Kumbakonam only if you are interested to visit Temples) - Kodaikanal-Madurai-Rameswaram-Kanyakumari you can easily complete the above route in 10 to 12 days. From Kanyakumari Take the route to Trivandrum Trivandrum-Aleppy-Thekkadi-Munnar-Cochin-Athirapilly Waterfalls-Valparai-Ooty-Masinagudi-Bandipur The above also can be done in about 12 to 13 days From Bandipur take the route to Mysore Mysore-Coorg-Hampi and Back to Andhra ping in case if you need further clarifications and detailed plan

You can allot more days in kerala, for it's scenic beauty in comparision.
*A.P+ Telangana (10days) covering -- Araku valley, Vizag, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Tirupathi From tirupathi Chennai is a 2hour journey
* Tamil Nadu (10 days) -- Chennai, Kancheepuram, Mahabalipuram, Madhurai, Puducherry, Kanyakumari , Coimbatore, Kodaikanal *Kerala (10 days) -- Vagamon, allepy, Thekkady, Munnar, Trivandrum, Kasargod backwaters, Poovar, Palakkad.

Sounds interesting. My friend and I are planning to go on a trip. Can you recommend places where interesting festivals are held? 2-3 days are more than enough once you reach the city of Vizag. And many like to cover Hyderabad in the same trip. So, if you are interested to visit Hyderabad, park some 2-3 days for it as well.
