Hey Ashwani, I was in Spain almost a year ago, and every month I think of planning a second trip there. I'd say October - March is the best time to visit. It's less touristy, and you'll be greeted with pleasant weather. I travelled specifically in south of Spain for 9 days, to experience the charm of small towns. Here are the towns I visited: - Malaga (day trip to Ronda/Nerja) - Granada - Seville - Cordoba Some tips: 1. Travel by public buses for intercity journey. They're government run, and quite affordable. You can buy tickets directly at the station. 2. If you decide on traveling in Southern Spain, avoid using public transportation in towns, instead walk. Walk everywhere you can, for however longer you can. The tourist spots are all close to each other. 3. Don't pay a lot for Flamenco shows, the advertised ones are just overpriced. If you're staying in a hostel, just ask at the reception. They usually suggest local ones which are cheaper and better. 4. If you're traveling solo or with a friend, stay in Hostels. You'll meet amazing people there, and they usually have affordable prices. Bonus: Some hostels even offer dinner nights/pub crawls/game night. 5. Don't get scammed! You'll find street vendors selling flowers/souvenirs. Just ignore them, and continue walking. 6. Day trips! If you're in a city for 1-2 days, look up for free walking tours. Well, they're not technically free, you have to tip them between 5-10 euros. But they're usually worth it. And you can even ask the guide to suggest local/less touristy spots. 7. Local food, local beer, local breakfast. DO IT! So far, this is what I can think of. But if you want more suggestions, inbox me!:) Have fun, click lots of pictures. Cheers, Riya

Best time to visit KASOL for trekking is between May and June. This is a time when the days can be a little hot, but the weather is generally bearable and gives way to cool nights.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Trekking is best mostly at the times when it is neither too hot and not too cold. Temperature in Kasol and Manikaran is always best to visit. You can visit these places in any time of the year. But if you plan to specially trekk in these areas, then there is winter trek- mostly between October to February. And then there is peak season trek that is between March to June- July. So you can choose your best time and visit and trek in Kasol and Manikaran. Enjoy your trek and visit.

I can tell you what I like to do and I find it very pleasant and helpful for my travelling days because it keeps my mood turned on during days .... I hear ambient music and Chill Mix on my headphone and it's so much adorable. I avoid lyrical songs/music coz it may harm or overwhelm my mind beyond my subconsciousness. So I will suggest you to try this once... After all mind is the main strike of peace seeking game

Lansdowne is an army area so there is not much to explore it is a small hill hamlet so don't expect much like Mussoorie or Nanital. Hotels and owners are couple friendly. There is a small lake where most of the tourist go and you can take a walk on the street and admire deodar trees and cold climate.

It is definitely worth staying in Cherrapunji, the locals are very amiable, the place is like a breath of fresh air, and there are two good hotels and a lot of homestay. There is a lot to explore in and around Cherrapunji. Whereas, Shillong though beautiful and culturally different would once gain be similar to the city life.

Depends on what you like, I would have visited the beach and managed to spend my entire day there. :)
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
You should start with a morning visit to sea and watch the fishermen bring in fresh catch or can come back post breakfast and laze around on beach or go for a backwater boat ride and see some jelly fishes in water.
