In Panjim, the capital of Goa you may spent time by the Mandovi river and visit the Miramar beach. Have cakes at Geeta Bakery in Panjim. Dona Paula, which is a well known tourist spot is just 3 KM away from Panjim.






Shree Shantadurga Temple in South Goa is very beautiful. On the way to Colva Beach in South Goa, you can visit the temple. And yes, Colva beach is an ideal beach for the swimmers. You can also go for paragliding.

Goa can be reached by train from all major cities in India and also by flight. By train you can get down either at Karmali Train Station or at Thivim Railway Station or at Madgaon Railway Station in South Goa or at Vasco-Da-Gama railway station. From capital city, Panjim, Karmali Train Station is the nearest followed by Thivim Railway Station. For air travel, Dabolim Airport at Dabolim and Manohar International Airport are the two options. You can also drive to Goa from Maharastra or through Karnataka.
