Its a deep-deep place, so beautifully enriched with such rooted cultures, it could take anyone's breath away. Lined with such beautifully majestic churches it is, but a surprise that even though there are more than 30 churches they still go unnoticed.
The beaches obviously are the main attraction. A tiring 10 hour drive from the main Bangalore city, 4 of which were spent in a horrid traffic jam in the hilly regions of Goa, and trust me if I say that's probably the only thing about the place you want to avoid.
There are two routes to Goa from Bangalore one that by-passes Belgaum city and other which passes by Mangalore city, also a beautiful city line with both tea gardens and beaches both at the same time, the second being longer. Took off for a walk towards Casino Royale, a beautiful sight that it is, with the ships and boats sailing across the water range, lighting up to their best efficiencies.
