My Friend Mohit suggests a Kalka Shimla Train journey. We have heard alot about the Kalka Shimla UNESCO Heritage Site. We were too much excited about our trip. we booked a ticket from Delhi for Himalayan Queen upto Simla.
In short The track has 20 mind blowing natural destinations, 103 tunnels earlier 110, 969 bridges some of them feel you "amaged" The 1,143.61m bagot Tunnel immediately before Barog station & 60 ft (18.29m) bridge is the longest and sharpest curve on 123 ft attitude and The train has an average speed of railcar is almost 50–60 km/hr. The details are scary but it's amazing to live it. We took tickets for its vary from 60-400 Rs according to categories. We shall advise to book in advance. We got a super surprise, the co-traveller, a local resident 12 year old friend I must remember, He was very enthusiastic to meet his nanny at Shimla. He informed us bullet points to feel adventures about curve, tunnels, bridges in the journey. We must thanks him for this.(pic credit).
It's just started the journey, the sharp turns, tunnels and bridges in pics will make you feed special to witnesses the UNESCO Heritage site.
We reached a hunted tunnel named "Barod Tunnel" what I liked most, it's natural beauty and food availability, we have enjoyed coffee with snacks. Most of stations are spontaneously elegance.
Now we are just approaching to Shimla we feel amazing to get smell of destination's soil. As you reach upward you feel much colder.
Finally we reached in the city we enjoyed Tea and visited mall road and took some cold food, it was served hot but the weather did the job to tell you that it's shimla my dear.
it was the best train journey of my life. I must say a trip every traveller must visit once in life.
