Gone are the days when office work meant sitting in a cubicle in front of a desktop. New-age professionals like me prefer to work when on the move. I am a digital nomad who is also a full-time employee, but my amazing company offers me the privilege of working remotely throughout the year. This means one thing – working with gorgeous views. Working remotely gives me the opportunity to travel the world and create amazing videos of some of the most beautiful places in the world.
As I am constantly on the go, it is important to keep my luggage light, and pack only those things that are absolutely necessary. I happened to visit Manali recently to shoot the beauty of the Himalayas. I had upgraded to Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ before the trip, and was all excited to use the innovative features of this next-level powerful phone.
As the bright sun shone on a pleasant day in Manali, I headed to a cafe to smell the coffee. But soon as I had taken two sips of my latte, my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ buzzed with a calendar notification that a Social Media Strategy Deck had to be sent to a client in an hour. There wassome work due on the deck but I was not stressing. I quickly edited the deck on my Galaxy Note 10+ and sent it to the client.
I finished my coffee, and strolled around the gorgeous town as the cool winds blew. A bunch of jolly kids were playing in a park, and I joined them. Galaxy Note 10+ comes with an amazing Super Steady Video feature which helped me capture the effervescent kids in action. This got them excited and they crowded me to see what else this magical device could do. I decided to play with other interesting features of the phone – live doodling, and using the S Pen like a remote control to take groupfies with the kids.. After all the fun, I waved them a goodbye, and went ahead exploring Old Manali, shopping and enjoying the vibe there.
In the evening, I was back at my homestay – Glampeco, Manali, which had turned into the next-level workspace because of my Galaxy Note10+. I thought of sharing videos from the morning on my social media. I took out my Galaxy Note 10+, edited the videos, and quickly stitched them together. The evening was magnificent, and so I thought of taking a hike in the hills to capture some landscape shots. I put the phone on charge, freshened up and changed. When I got back to check, the phone was 100% charged already.
On my trail through the hills, I heard someone singing. I moved in the direction of the voice. A Himachali man was singing a beautiful song. I was just mesmerised. I took out my Galaxy Note 10+, and made a video of the singer using the Video Bokeh feature which blurs everything else in the background, keeping the main subject in focus. I also used the Zoom-In Mic feature while shooting a video to focus on the audio of the subject, cutting out the background noise. I thanked the singer for the beautiful song that was an ode to the beauty of Manali.
Soon enough, I reached at a point that gave me a 360 degree view of Manali. I used the Ultra Wide feature of the Galaxy Note 10+ to take shots of the boundless nature. I found many modes in my Galaxy Note 10+ to capture the beautiful scenery around. I wanted to take a slow-motion video of myself splashing the water from a Himalayan stream. I fixed my Galaxy Note 10+ on a tripod and used the S Pen to change the video mode from a distance just with an Air Action.
I loved the hills of Manali, and the way I had taken back some memories with the help of my Galaxy Note 10+. I came back to my homestay and shared my experience with the other inmates. They were eager to see my pictures, and so, I connected the phone to a laptop using the DeX mode. I could easily flip through the pictures on the desktop using the S Pen sitting far apart.
As the night fell, I used the brilliant Night Mode on Galaxy Note 10+ to click the city lights of Manali valley from my phone.
My short trip to Manali ended well with some brilliant shots facilitated by Samsung Galaxy Note10+. On my journey back to Delhi, I used the smart features of my phone to finish off all the work – be it uploading pictures on my Social Media pages, editing videos for my blog or making a pitch deck on the go. With Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ you can take your workspace anywhere with you, and enjoy a tech-savvy vacation without any hassles.
