My first trip as an adult.. but not really. It is still a secret.. my most rebellious move. I hid my vacation from my parents and it was totally worth it.
I went to Bir-Billing with my roommate. I live in Mumbai and best way to reach Bir in budget is by train. Book a train from Mumbai to Pathankot then you have to go to Bus stand and get a bus for Bir or Baijnath.
We stayed at the Himalayan Monk camping site. It is a bit far from all other stay options but it is the best. It has the best Sun rise and Sunset View in Bir. Calm and soothing surrounding. And cutest little Lucy to welcome
The staff was super friendly, they made us feel so comfortable, safe and secure. Bobby who owns the camping site helped us in every way possible. He was our local tour guide and i must say the best tour guide. He is one of the main reasons which turned this vacation the most memorable one.
