What do brands of hotels mean?
Hotel brands are distinct personas that individual hotels or hotel groups use to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. Top hotel chains including Marriott, Hilton, ITC, Hyatt, Wyndham, Accor, Oberoi group, The Lalit, Radisson, Best Western and Taj hotels are among the most well-known brands in India as well as in the world.
Leading hotel brands offer a variety of amenities, styles, and experiences catered to various client demographics, including luxury and low-cost travelers. These brands assist hotels in growing their revenue, showcasing their unique selling points, and drawing in repeat business, and successfully competing in the crowded hospitality market.
How to Select:
Most people think that staying at a luxurious hotel is expensive or a luxury that is only accessible to the wealthy. But things have changed now throughout the years. There are now a lot of opulent hotels in the market that provide excellent services at reasonable prices. There are a number of additional reasons to pick a luxury hotel in addition to first-rate services:
Activities & Relaxation: A lot of upscale hotels offer much more than just lodging. They provide large spaces set aside for events. For those visitors who wish to keep active while traveling gym sessions are offered. Luxurious hotels offer spa and massage therapies that are ideal for those seeking a stress-free vacation. Additionally, they guarantee your comfort throughout your visit while providing top-notch services from beginning to end.
Value: You can always expect to receive superior service for your money while staying in opulent hotels. For example, the rooms are furnished with chic furnishings and provide a cozy feel. Additionally, you are entitled to a host of amenities, including minibars, TVs, Wi-Fi, refreshments, and much more.
Food: When you stay at a luxurious hotel, you can anticipate sampling the greatest cuisine on the planet. The best chefs work for the hotels to guarantee that their patrons only receive delicious meals. The quality of the fresh local ingredients supplied is excellent.
I visited these three well-known hotels; here are my thoughts about them.
1. Wyndham
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chennai
The hotel is situated in a good area close to Chennai International Airport. The rooms are immaculate, and I especially enjoyed how comfy the bed was. Amazing automated curtains and lighting. The personnel at reception were courteous and kind. Even though we had a last-minute reservation, they handled it quickly.

Ramada by Wyndham New Delhi Pritampura
We stayed at Ramada by yndham in Sri Lanka and Chennai, but only this particular Ramada franchise required us to pay the first day's room rent in advance. This four-star hotel is the worst we have ever visited. The worst Ramada series ever. There is just one restaurant there, with a few options and a printed menu. The breakfast buffet was not what one had anticipated for. The bathrooms were filthy and the flush was broken, and the rooms were not up to par. Staff used to come and clean the rooms every day, even at tiny, two- or three-star hotels, but here they used to inquire whether we needed cleaning. Every day, we had to request more towels and everything else.

Ramada by Wyndham Colombo
One Galle Face mall is easily accessible by foot from the hotel, which is located in a fairly tranquil area. The personnel of the coffee shop and hotel reception were courteous and pleasant. The hotel foyer is exquisite, featuring a spacious seating area. Breakfast buffets are scrumptious and authentic. Rooms were tidy and spotless. I discovered that there was little dirt in the hallway, but as soon as I reported the issue to the lobby, the entire area was cleaned. The staff is attentive and highly professional. Highly recommended.

2. Marriott
Fairfield by Marriott Rajajinagar Bengaluru
Having stayed at several five-star hotels before, I would clearly state that this is the worst. Reception and staff: The employees here are ignorant of proper manners in a five-star establishment. You've checked in here, and nobody is around to show you to your room. When we dropped or picked up the key, Prachi, the receptionist, just asked us two questions: "Are you checking out?" and "Are you a guest of our hotel?" How can a hotel be safe if its employees aren't even able to recall who is a guest and who is not?
Room: To put it another way, the rooms don't feel particularly Marriott-esque. Okay, I realize that this is a basic Marriott hotel, but even basic hotels without affiliations have better accommodations than this one. The bathrooms are quite cramped, the hot water isn't hot, the extra bed was tattered and filthy, They also don't change the bedding if you stay for three nights. Extra towels were not provided, even after a request.
Food: It’s the worst of all. Is Fairfield actually a part of the Marriott hotel group? Is the food truly fit for a five star hotel? So where is the taste? The food is not even close to as good as small neighbourhood restaurants. The menu is same everyday (apart from upma) so I won’t be startled if the food is stale. Since I paid for it and was hungry had no other option (They claim breakfast is included with room as if it’s free, but nothing is free)
Security: This place has the worst security. They have scanner and everything, but what good is it if there is a party at the hotel and party hall is accessible from same entrance. Anyone can enter any floor of the hotel because it seems like no one is there to escort those guests apart. I have been to other hotels in Bengaluru that used a system where guests staying at hotel had to use a key to access the elevator, preventing outside guests from accessing any other floor except party hall or restaurant. Furthermore, Fairfield is a component of Marriott without any worries regarding guest’s security.

3. Hyatt
Hyatt Place Banjara Hills Hyderabad
We had an amazing time staying at Hyatt Place. Perfectly situated in the center of the city, with quick access to all the major attractions, is the location. However, the outstanding hospitality is what really makes this hotel stand out.
Chef: The chef used to exclusively approach the tables of corporate people to inquire about the food he prepared; he never bothered to approach the tables of other families. This is the only thing that disappointed me.
Rooms: In other words, the rooms has distinct Hyatt feel about them. Despite being simple Hyatt hotel, it offers the nicest accommodation. The facilities are roomy, and I really liked the division between shower and vanity. There’s hot water accessible all the time. The sofa doubles as an extra bed that is just as comfortable as king-size bed. They have policy to conserve water, so they will change the linen everyday if you ask them to, but they everyday provide you a clean towel.
Safety: the location boasts the best security. They have everything including scanner. To enter any floor or elevator itself, you must present your room card. Without a card, no one is allowed to enter any floor. Moreover Hyatt place is a part of Hyatt group and takes all necessary precautions to ensure safety of its guests.
Food and Drinks: the breakfast and supper spread provides a mouthwatering variety of selections to suit every taste, including pastries, fresh fruits, tasty South Indian cuisine, continental fare, made-to-order omelettes, dosas, pancakes etc from live counter. Every dish is painstakingly made with premium ingredients to guarantee your delight.
