This journey will be first of many this year. This journey is about from moving to plus from minus. This journey will be a start to many adventures.
Being in such a institute to move on leave or on short trips are always awaited. To have a good companion on trips are a must.
Am typing this down at around 0145am and temperature outside is -21°C.
Me and my sweet jungu(Deepali) will be starting(i used WILL BE because if weather is not Sunny in the morning then our trip will not start) our trip to andamans today.
We planned this trip around 10days back. Me n my friend planned itinery ,places to visit ,hotels etc from day 1 of discussion. I will pen it down after completion of trip each day.
We both planned trip to beautiful port blair from ladhak.
Actually we will be flying on 27 jan 2020 , but being located presently at a place where connectivity to Leh is based on weather condition we planned our trip two days prior so that we can reach Delhi to catch flight timely.
As per plan we took a cab from present location ie Khumbhathang (Kargil) to Leh today. After a long journey by around 1630 we reached leh... Temperature here is -14°C. After checking in we planned to have Leh market visit.
Road here at leh is clear. One can plan trip to leh in this month too as the view will be mesmerizing.
But i think not in leh but one should plan a trip to Padum Dras Kargil to see snow cladded mountains.
Most of the shops were closed in winters.. 3 Best restaurants i will suggest here are

We planned a short visit to nubra valley and pangong tso for day 2 but as weather here and all are against our will and our flight to andamans is prebooked we dropped our plan for tomorrow.
Rather if weather permits we are flying to Delhi tomorrow.
For today its Julley folks....

Reached Leh airport and boarded flight to delhi within an hour. Just a querry as this place is most visited by tourist all around the world round the clock i donno why airport authority of india is not looking into basic amenities of this airport.
Saying julley to leh for next 30 days.
Today and tomorrow we planned Delhi belly.Today was ghand time as we both roam around delhi in metro in search of single shop. Atlast didn't find any and finally only just plying in around delhi metro without any reason.
Then we planned to get out of this as we planned to enjoy saturday night at My bar.
All places have its own colours. Being saturday night may be delhi want to ease out. This place is good to sit and have a shot.
Day 2 is all travel n seeing delhi gallies... Being back to civilization at some portion of heart want to go back to snow cladded mountains as they offered peace of mind.
And its day3 and still at delhi life. Yesterday was a long day in metro at CP at haus khas....
So we slept for a good and woke up at around 12ish pampered ourself had good breakfast pavbhaji then famous chat of delhiwala.
I was totally amazed and confused to see many storeys building conjusted gallies traffic and finally i told to myself Ye Delhi hei mere Yaar bhas Ishq Mohabbet aur Pyar.
Then we both said asthala vista to our beautiful host Raman and left for Kariappa Vihar were we had a small get together and left to airport to catch our early morning ✈ to beautiful Andamans.
Waiting for the moment we reach there....
As of now thank you folks.. Will pen down our trips final destination ie Port Blair tomorrow.

Was not able to update Day 4 yesterday as u all know network issues are their at Port blair. With this i would like to intimate bsnl and airtel provides service here. Network issues are their and most important while booking hotels just check for wifi provision as most resorts provide. And most of restaurants also provide wifi during dine in.
With this we took our early morning ✈ from IGI airport Delhi by 0600h and landed portblair Veer Savarkar Airport by 1100h.
I would like to intimate, request and try to get left side window seat while you got to andamans as view of all islands of this beautiful land is awesome from plane.
As we prebooked guestrooms here we reached and took a quick shower and left for Cellular Jail by auto.Rate is not so reasonable then also we paid Rs 60.
Dont waste so much time inside jail just go to major places that u can findout from pamphlet or through guide. As all cells look alike just click good photos and you can leave to next destination.
If u r keen about history all then hire a guide otherwise history behind each bar is self explanatory.
After a good photo section we left for Corbyn Coves beach by auto rickshaw and paid Rs 100 ( driver asked 200 rs) u should bargain as they donot put metre. But they are so good and in enroute they showed us all landmarks and gave info about good restaurants and all.
Corbyn Coves beach is also a one time visit place nothing special... as beach was so crowded.
You can do water sports here too but with my personal experience will say one should go for Havelock for water sports. We had done same from 🐘 beach.
Me and my friend had a good time at beach till sunset having a cup of chai and Mirchi Bhaji.
After a handful of photosection we left for Lalaji kitchen in town for dinner. Place had good vibes but they should work over on basic amenities.
After dinner we walkdown through beautiful town. Marina Park have an awesome view and also 1943 memory lane... Town was at the best in between the lights of streets.
Then we had short town visit in car by our friend here and it was too good... City had a different colour in darkness.
With this we had a beautiful end of day 4 at port blair.

Day 2 actually at andamans.
Today morning we took first cruise to Havelock Islands. We chose Green Ocean Cruise for this and took a luxury ticket worth Rs 1250.While planning our trip we read that prebooking is required for cruise but i dont think its well required.
Cruise was awesome but it took nearly 0300h for us to reach havelock island. But journey was worth. Port blair is simply capital town... One should enter to this marvelous piece of land to find out real beauty.
On reaching boat jetty we encounterd an uncle who arranged us Activa and water sports at reasonable rates. Rates are pretty much high but just thinking that the people lives here earn through this..You will not think once to pay. The owner was really cool.
Earlier our plan was to go to our prebooked hotel and take some rest but then having a word with the guy who arranged vehicle and all we thought its worth better not to waste time.
We took ferry for the famous 🐘 beach.
Per person ferry tickets cost Rs 950
Per person para sailing cost Rs 3250
Per person scuba diving cost Rs 2500
Per person Kayaking cost Rs 3000
Per person Jet Skieing cost Rs 600 etc
Main and must to do sports are as above.
On reaching the beach we first had glass boat ride. It was awesome as u can see underwater, corals, different varieties of fishes and all.
I will personally suggest if one is going for scuba diving its better not to do snorkelling sea walk etc.
After mesmerizing boat ride we done para sailing. Its also worth doing. It all depends on wind speed.
Then we had good photosection in so called restriced beach as because forest area is there movement is bounded.
Then we done the perfect speed bike drive in sea Jet ski. Its worth doing as you will feel above the waves.
🐘 beach one can spend 0300h and after that the boat will take you back to havelock jetty.
After a quick lunch (awesome cuisine of 🐠 ) we took our activa and had a heart throbing ride to Kalapathar beach. This beach is toooooo good and untouched beauty.
White blanket of sand and clean green sea water is worth seeing. And enroute drive to this place is also mesmerizing.
At night we done kayakking in mangroves. Night view in mangroves are mesmerizing. Blinking water is 👀 catching.
Kayakking is safe and sound if you follow instructions.
Around 0100 to 0130h we spend in water and had a good ride on so called kayakking boats.
With this our day 5 ended after having a good sea food meal.
Ths place is worth seeing.Give two days time for whole visit of havelock island.
Day 3 at port blair
This was the most awaited day for us in this trip.
Yeeeeey its Scuba diving time.
Early morning by around 0545 am we reached our loc of dive. Quickly changed to the rigs and took a quick 05 mins capsule course on how to dive.
Nothing to worry its safe and sound. First time when you go inside water and try to breathe from mouth instead of nose u will feel little uncomfortable. But its okay. You should not back out.
View underneath was mesmerizing. It was sooo cool to be underwater.
After that we had a quick nap as we both were tired and woke up around 1030am got ready and left once again to Kalapathar beach. Enroute we had breakfast at Kerala Cafe.
Of all the beaches at andamans my personal choice is Kalapathar. White sand beach blue and green shaded water ,fallen trees and free from tourists this place is picture perfect.
After spending good time we left for Radhanagar beach.Beach was crowdy. It took 45 mins for us to reach there from kalapathar.
Beach was overcrowded and may be our bad luck sunset was not perfect. It was okay.
After that we had delicious dinner at Venom and dessert at Anju Coco.
Behind our hotel we had good night walk in hotel's private whitesand beach.
With this havelock darshan came to an end.
Day 4 of our port blair trip we took makruzz for neil. Ship time was 1100am. It will take one hour to reach neil island from makruzz. Makruzz interior and seating are very beautiful.
As it was our last day of roaming around and for neil only one day is rather than enough.
We took first ship to island and reached neil jetty by around 1100h same day. Its almost one hour flight.
On reaching there we took an auto rickshaw as our plan was to see all the 3 beaches as we have to catch last ship to port blair same day.
One half day is more than enough to just capture this beautiful island. If one is planning for a pleasure trip then its fine to spend one night.
We first checked Bharatpur beach which is closest one. Beach was crowdy as water sports can be carried out here. They had arranged a sea beach were one can spend quality time.
After that we visited Sitapur beach. Its also worth seeing. As its conveyed this beach is best for sunset.
Then we visited Laxmanpur1 beach. Beach was totally free from tourist's. And water was so clean and mesmerizing white sand is there.
Then we visited the famous natural bridge. Ofcourse as any other tourist we had a nice photo section.
One must always taste street food here at beach side. Its one kind of helping hand for people here.
Overall its worth place to visit. My budget was 20K for 4 days. And covered almost all main attractions of island.
Evening 1530 we took ship back to pirt blair and enjoyed night life here. This place is so cool and people here are helpful.
Nothing more reqd for a fruitful and everlasting trip.
With this our short trip to andamans from ladakh successfully ended.
