It is about 50km from Jaisalmer. You can halt here on way to Sam Dunes where you can have a dash of adventure with dune bashing (somewhat like Dubai but not up to that level) in a jeep or go for a camel desert safari. In the evening there are folk artists singing local songs performing traditional Rajasthani dance.
