Sudden plans always make the best of memories. This vacation plan changed over a night from Chikmagalur to Gokarna. This was my second trip to Gokarna, which was no different from the first one. Except for one thing, cheap shack rates because I went there off season.
The travel is easy from Bangalore. It took me around 9 hours in an overnight bus. Gokarna serves as a perfect weekend relaxant. The shack I stayed in was in Kudle Beach. Waking up in the morning to the view of the Arabian Sea and a cooling breeze is what I crave for.
If you're on a tight budget but still need a vacay- Gokarna Is THE place. Food is cheap, stay is affordable and you don't have to spend on traveling there. Trekking from one beach to another is very much doable. All you gotta do is drink your beer, eat the fried fish, listen to some music and chill by the ocean.
