Sunday Outing at Namma Bangaluru!

Tripoto

It was Saturday night and I was absolutely bored and a little annoyed with myself as I had wasted the entire day doing nothing. Just when I decided to go sleep, my roommate suggested that we should go somewhere otherwise Sunday would get wasted too with all the lazing around and Netflix. We wasted another hour suggesting and rejecting each others options and finally decided that we should go on a drive to the airport and decide about our plans on the way.

It was already 3 in the morning by now. We hit the road with a water bottle and a bag of chips in the backseat of the car. The roads were hushed and calm. We hummed to Guns and Roses and giggled all the way cracking lame jokes.

Just when we were about to reach the airport we decided to extend our ride to Nandi Hills! The road to Nandi Hills was circled and twisted like a cone of soft serve ice-cream and the higher we got the cloudier it became. Nandi Hills is a mysterious Hill. There are many hills around but this is the only one which gets capped with clouds. There is a nice garden, a sunrise view point and a temple at the top. We sat there enjoying at cup of tea gazing at the beautiful sunrise.

Next we headed to MG road. Yes! the favorite roaming place of every youngster in Bengaluru. But my favorite place in MG road is the Blossoms book store. It has one of the largest collections of books for every genre. I could stay at that place reading and smelling the old books all day! We purchased a heap of Novels from there.

By this time we were Famished and thirsty. So we went to my favorite pub: Le Rock. We ordered a pitcher and a thin crust pizza there and sat peacefully listening to Rock Music. When we came out of Le Rock, it was almost sundown.

We finally we ended our day taking a stroll on the Metro Boulevard, admiring the art installations, paintings and mild smell of flowers. It was a well spent Sunday and we returned home happily recollecting the fun we had the entire day!
