People generally ask me why you travel solo & I have no words to explain to them because it can be only experienced by traveling.

This is my story, a software developer working in IT Company in Bengaluru, who went on a solo Road trip on his Avenger street 220cc & covered almost 2500 km inroads of Kerala & TamilNadu.

I think this is the best plan that anyone has ever made because I explored almost every part of Kerala on my bike in just 10 days covering almost 2500 km.

[ Day 1 ] Ride from Bangalore to Munnar, Kerala

This journey started on 23rd December 2019. I started my Day 1 early at 5 a.m. because I have to ride approximately 500 km from Bangalore to reach Munnar. so the plan was to reach before 6:00 pm & then look for hotels. But as expected I reached after 7:30 pm in Munnar, It was already late & it was not easy to get hotels nearby the city, but I managed to get cottage room in just 900 bucks which was just 2km away from Munnar city.

Ride Experience

As I was going through the Anamalai Tiger Reserve, it felt like I was in a different world, the sounds of wildlife, birds made me realize that connecting with nature is the best form of meditation & road trips are the best to connect with nature & see the entirely different world out there. It feels like freedom from pollution, negative thoughts & office work.

It was day 4 & I planned to reach Kollam from Idukki which is approximately 200 km which didn't went the expected way because my bike self-start was not working & had to start the bike by pushing it through slope road. After riding for one hour I found authenticate Bajaj service center & had to replace the battery which costed me Rs 2000.

After I got my bike repaired, i was already late by 2 hours so had to reach Kollam before night, so I didn't take too much of videos and photos.

One thing I will always remember is that the roads of Idukki to Kollam are quite adventurous and the views are breathtaking.

After exploring Kollam Beach, I visited Jatayu Earth's center which is known for having World's largest Rock sculpture of Jatayu Bird [ A mythological character from Ramayan].

It is also a good place for adventure games like rock climbing, repelling, archery etc. I bought one ticket for adventure games & experienced rock climbing, repelling, archery & various other adventure games.

[ Day 6 ] Explored Alleppey & Ride to Kochi, Kerala

It was day 6 & plan was to explore Backwaters of Alleppey, Alleppey Beach & then Ride to Kochi from Alleppey which is approximately 50 km.

Largest Earthen Dam in India & second largest in Asia

[ Day 10 ] - Last Day of Trip (Wayanad to Bangalore)

It was day 10 (last day) of the trip, I wished that if I had more days I could have explored more places but it's life. [ Musafir hai Hum Phir Aayengey ]
