Gangtok

Our journey from Siliguri Junction railway station to Gangtok, had already made us feel excited. The drive to Gangtok is a experience by itself from Siliguri.The drive from plains to the heights has some views which are unique by its own virtue.The drive to Gangtok took us close to 5 hours,distance between Siliguri to Gangtok is hardly 120 kilometers but the drive upwards takes it time due to the height's which has to be scaled through wheels.Gangtok is one of the most cleanest cities i have seen, that i should say the whole of Sikkim is one of the most cleanest and certainly the most untouched beautiful place on earth.

Lachung

Lachung is a town and hill station in northeast Sikkim, India. It is located in the North Sikkim district near the border with Tibet.I would recommend if you have some extra cash to shell out please book your private vehicle to this place. There is very few places on earth that can even stand a chance to compete with the visual splendor this place has to offer,The road's from Gangtok to La chung is certainly not for the faint hearted,the place has its own share of landslides but nevertheless, it's a must visit and once place i will love to be lost in.

Nathu La

is a mountain pass in the Himalayas. It connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass, at 4,310 m (14,140 ft) above mean sea level,Well after being spell bound with Lachung, i was thinking can Sikkim still surprise me well it certainly did everything about Sikkim is beautiful ,the people,the mountains,the view and Sikkim is certainly a crown in India which should be appreciated and respected.
