A trip to Srinagar will be incomplete without Dal Lake which is often called as Jewel in the crown of Kashmir. However this was our stopover destination while on the way to Leh Laddakh but definately worth a stop. From the placid colors of Dal lake to the beautiful shikaras and house boats, everything seems like pleasure to eyes. And icing on the cake was warm kehwa or kahwa the Kashmiri beverage and its luring fragrance.
