My trip started with a leisure day the day we landed in Mauritius. You can absolutely do nothing or else take up the free water sports your resort provides you with or just relax yourself in the pool or in the jacuzzi! The next day we went on the North Island tour. It's a relaxing tour where they take you to the Le Caudan Waterfront, Riche Teirre Mall, Marie Reine De La Paix and a few other places. It's basically to give you an idea about the different places in Mauritius and allow you time for shopping, because once you start your exotic water sport activities there's absolutely no time to think about anything else! Like seriously! Breakfast and dinner were included in our package so lunch was bought by us in the food court of the mall. Just go for McDonalds or KFC.

Next day we went to Ile Aux Cerfs Island which is a private island. On the way there, we stopped at a nearby beach to go for the UnderSea Walk which costs 1000 Mauritian Rupees per person and under water photos cost you extra around 1000 Mauritian Rupees. Absolutely mind-blowing experience for non-swimmers but you are given just 15 minutes. But I suggest non-swimmers to go for it to get an under the sea experience. Ile Aux Cerfs - A MUST SEE. Absolute heaven out there! You can enjoy parasailing, banana ride, two-seater tube ride, three-seater tube ride, four-seater tube ride, seakart, scuba diving etc. There are loads of activities! Cost varies. Seakart is 5000 MRU for one hour per couple, parasailing is 900 MRU, Banana ride is 500 MRU, Tube rides vary, Jetski is 3500 MRU for double and 2500 MRU for single. However, sea water sports depend upon the weather conditions as well. Like the glass bottom boat provided free by the resort got cancelled because of bad sea weather and so did the Bluesafari submarine. Submarine ride is around 4200 MRU per person. After an exhausting day and dinner at the hotel we spent the night in the resort. The next day was South Island Tour where they took us to the valley of 7-coloured Earth, Waterfall and the sort. This felt nice after a hectic day the day before. The next day our day was at leisure. You can utilize it with Dolphin Watch in the morning and Casela with Walk with the Lions/Interaction with the Lions in the later half. The two should come around 4400 or 2000. As Dolphin watch costs 1400 MRU and Walk with the Lions is 3000 MRU and Interaction is 600 MRU. The price keeps changing minutely though. Please book your events for leisure day at least two days prior. We couldn't book and ended up at the Waterfront which was a nice day by the way.

The next day we had Catamaran Cruise and it's absolutely amazing! Everybody got sea sick when the sea was rough though. However, when the sea is calm you can actually watch dolphins and whales on your ride as well. Lunch is served on the cruise as well. They also serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The crew also played African music for us and we danced to its tune. The departing day we checked out at noon, kept our luggage in the cloak room and went to Grand Bay shopping village. It's absolute bliss! Prada, LV, Burberry factory outlets make everything really reasonable! Overall I would say Mauritius suits everyone's taste for adventure, leisure, rejuvination and romance :)
