Getting there
Located close to many a Mirissa resort, the Secret Beach in Mirissa can be best accessed by tuk-tuk. A narrow, winding road makes it an interesting journey if you ignore the bumpy patches. During the last 200 metres the road gets so bad that it would be best to continue the rest of the journey by foot.
Main Beach
Secret beach is pretty much made up of two palm-fringed beaches. Upon arrival, you may set your eyes on an open ocean. The scintillating waves of the sea make it an ideal location for a refreshing dip.
Lagoon Beach
Just around the corner from the main beach, you will come across the lagoon beach. With a rocky outcrop creating a shallow lagoon, it is a safe location to float around with your kids. It truly is a hidden gem in the south of Sri Lanka.
