Ibiza
I don’t remember if I’ve mentioned this in my blog before that every year on my birthday I travel. It’s a pact that I made with myself long time back. My goal is to visit all 7 Continents before I turn 35.This was back in 2014 that I did backpacking through Spain and Ibiza was my last destination.
Montpellier
Even if that wasn’t where our wedding was it’s a great place to start. Great transport, fabulous town, Montpellier is not your average tourist destination. While most people think of Nice or Cannes or Provence as the South of France, Montpellier is far less touristy, far more real and has its own unique vibe. So fly in to Montpellier, hang about for a few days just walking around the old town, eating and drinking rosé in the square then pop into the boutiques and listening to street music. You can also base yourself here to explore these nearby treasures.
Girona
Full of museums, religious monuments, and ancient history, Girona is a wonderful tribute to Catalonia and its people. What to See/Do- Museums: Girona is home to a tragic and beautiful history, as shown out in its museums. See the Museu d’Historia dels Jueus for an overview of the Jewish community that once inhabited this town, or the Museu d’Historia de Girona set in 18th century cloisters to see the city from its Roman times until now. There is also an art museum with over 8500 pieces, and a Cinema Museum.- Banys Arabs: These Arabic bathhouses are a lovely testament to the early Muslim influence on Spain, and a great place to relax.Where to Eat- There are two restaurants with Michelin stars here, El Celler de Can Roca, and Massana.- Another local favorite is Divinum, full of delicious Catalan cuisine and local wines.10. AlpujarrasThis mountain range in the south is home to white-washed villages soaking up the ever-present sun. They offer wonderful places to unwind, relax, and get in touch with nature. What to See/Do

About Barcelona

We started early next day and headed to Park Guell. Since Park Guell is located away from the city, we started early. Though getting there can be a little bit tricky as it is located near hills, there are buses (24 and 92) to the entrance gates. The Park Guell has very strict entry times for the monumental zone. The monumental zone is magnicificnet with creations of Gaudi's artworks. It is advisable to book tickets online for Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia as the queues for tickets are quite huge. We then headed to La Sagrada Familia followed by Casa Batlo, the vintage Gothic quarter and La Ramblas - the lively shopping and eatery place in the city. We ended our trip with a visit to the beach at the Mediterranean Sea and dinner at the beach facing restaurants. We headed back to our BnB taking a good night's sleep to get ready for our flight early morning for Paris.
