Museum Bank Indonesia
How can a bank be interesting? Well, this one is! The building itself is already a highlight and you get to see many interesting things there. It is one of Jakarta's most popular sights. The entry is free. It depicts Indonesia's monetary history from the colonial days till the Independence, when the bank was centralized. The bank is pretty old, but the museum is pretty recent, opened in 2009. There are numerous presentation on the financial policies, but the exciting parts are the ancient coins stored here belonging to the ancient Indonesian Kingdoms. A must-visit to understand the history and daily life of Jakarta.
Inside the museum compound, just before the hall where they play Wayang Kulit Ramayana show, a 50-something artist (name not recorded) quietly carves puppets out of leather. In the rush to watch the show, these guys are often forgotten. However, In all senses, he's THE man who makes it possible. By HE, I am referring to all those artists who make these puppets come alive through their perfect hand-eye co-ordination.Behind the scenes: The Dalang

I kept first day of arrival free to relax by kuta beach and find a taxi for good price. I found taxi for 4 lac IDR per day. Next morning I left to see Garuda wishnu kenkana. Entry fee is 1 Lac IDR. This is culture center under construction. Nothing much to see here, cultural Balinese dance was worth the visit.

It displays fine examples of all schools of Balinese art, from the early 16th century cloth wayang-style paintings (art influenced by shadow puppetry) to postwar modern art.Opening Hours: All days, 9am to 6pmCost: Rp 50,000 (₹240) for adults, children under the age of 15, accompanied by adults get free admission.
Lot of amazing cafes, restaurants, Bars & night club..!! Fantastic Shopping.. Very lively place in South Bali! While diving I met a girl from Swiss who was working in China. Apparently she became my Diving buddy! After we finished Diving, we planned our trip ahead to Seminyak.. We made more friends enroute.. Friends from Philippines.. We visited Tanah Lot as it is considered to be one of the most beautiful sunset points in Bali! Since it was our last day and we did not know when would we meet next.. We went partying at Potato Head Beach Club! It would be one of the best located clubs with an infinity pool facing the sea! It was just one of the best trips of my life..! I miss Bali..!
