Step in the new Anardana restaurant, striking bold in contemporary elegance, fusing nostalgia at the same time. Here timeless tradition meets modern elegance. The interiors feature a striking mix of vaulted arches, golden distressed mirrors, and mosaic-clad walls, punctuated by playful textures and rich material contrasts. Glass-brick partitions and warm lighting create an immersive glow, while carved wooden details and raised seating platforms lend depth and drama to the dining journey.

Look around and you will see a side wall with a frame having Gabbar image, and another one with a lady holding mango bite toffee. You will be tempted to get your pose captured here, for sure, as I did !

Immersive Dining

Anardana has always stood for more than just dining; it is a living legacy of culinary storytelling. Hence one look at the menu and you realise how it is curated to stir nostalgia showcase Anardana’s most loved creations, where tradition meets contemporary flair.

Do not miss Anardana’s signature creations like Avocado Dhokla, Chicken Khurchan Bao Taco, Gulkand Paan Tikki, Quinoa Avocado Bhel, Ricotta Dahi ke Kabab, Purani Dilli Chaat, and Lamb Galouti Kabab to the iconic Anardana Butter Chicken, Bhetki Fish Pollichathu, Tangra Chilli Chicken, Chicken Changezi Cornetto and Ghongura Naan. The menu also highlights indulgent favorites like Shahi Paneer, especially for vegetarians. Sip and savour two outstanding drinks - Kokum Banta and Anardana Special, both tangy and delicious peppered with in-house masalas and spices.

I started my meal with a warm delicious mushroom soup and super vegan salad. How could I resist Purani Dilli chaat which had crispy papri layered with spicy potato, yoghurt and a medley of chutneys. Quinoa Avocado Bhel came next - just perfect without any complicated flavours - a modern twist to the street side Bhel. Chef Lakhan, the Executive Chef's favourite is 'Gulkand Paan Tikki' - patties layered with betel leaves and gulkand. So with every bite, you get the taste of paan. He says, it's one of the top selling dishes.

Every plate reflects Anardana’s vision: to reimagine Indian classics with bold flavours, intricate layers, and soulful innovation. Next time I am going to try Mushroom Galauti with Kokum Picante while my friends are all set for Gabbar Singh platter with Gonduraj Sour Cocktail, one of the most popular drinks of the mixologist here.

The menu is far too extensive to taste even one third of it in one visit. So keep getting back to this zesty destination and try different dishes from different cuisines - Chinese to Continental to Indian, and special Sattvik section of Jain food.

Desserts Galore !

Wind up your meal, ( if you have any space left),  with outstanding desserts. I go by chef's recommendation of Kunafa Bird Nest - crisp Kunafa Pastry layered with cream and nuts, oozing Mid Eastern charm. The team will not let you go without tasting Chandrakala - truly magical as they say - stuffed with khoya and nuts - adorned with 24karat gold varq. A Royal Sweet with a Golden Crown!
