If you have ever watched Bollywood movies like Bang-Bang or Chalte-Chalte with a beautiful eye catching panoramic view, you will be able to understand the beauty Santorini has to offer. This place indeed has been one of the mesmerising spots I have ever explored. Santorini happens to be one of the most popular destinations which one explores after coming to Greece. After the successful trip to Athens, we boarded an early flight to Santorini.
What a breathtaking place this volcanic island is! We savoured breakfasts with a view, the pretty towns of Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli and the prettiest of all, Oia – all somehow perched at the top of the island and nestled in small clusters. Hiked 10km from Fira to Oia where landscapes (too beautiful to describe), kept us going. And a finish with a beautiful sunset from the tip of Santorini island in Oia was more than we could’ve hoped for. Here's our Greece Travel Itinerary covering Athens, Nafplio and Santorini.Or join-us on Instagram @travelkeeday and @mouthfulsfromjhakal! You know that one showstopper who knows how to turn heads of the plenty? Well, the same way was ‘Santorini’ for us. Trust me, your hours and hours of browsing through Santorini pictures does no justice to this place. If you really want to witness every inch of this extraordinary island, you MUST visit it. While booking for my stay in Santorini, I was both excited and anxious, at the same time. Speaking of which, I made sure that I did my best to manage my own expectations in 4-days at this Greek island.Anyway, before I ramble on any further about how phenomenal this place is, I want to share some of the very best things we did in Santorini.1.) Hiking from Fira to Oia (Must do)2.) Watching the sunset in Oia3.) Visiting the Santo Winery4.) Exploring the capital, Fira5.) Witnessing the Black Sand Beach, Kamari

I left for Fira, commercial centre of Santorini. Lots of souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. I took a leisurely stroll from Fira to Imerovigli, marching past beautiful white cave houses with blue painted windows and doors and adorned with colourful flower pots. The calm air and a light breeze just added to the romance of the island. As the sun goes down, the island is beautifully lit with golden lights which only enhances its beauty.
