If you are low on budget then suggest check out from Westin Resort in Nusa Dua, Bali and head to Kuta and check-in to a hotel. Enjoy the Kuta Beach and Kuta nightlifeDay 8 :
Next day we left from Ubud to go to Kuta. This time we booked a bus service which takes 1-2 hours to reach Kuta depending on how many people they need to pick up on the way and traffic, and costs IDR 60,000 per person. At Kuta, we stayed at Balisani Padma hotel which was really good and 8-10 mins away from the Kuta beach.Kuta is crowded with tourists and there is always traffic jam. Hence we decided to walk around the place rather than renting a bike.Kuta beach is well known for surfing and you will see many trainers giving surfing lessons to kids and adults. If you want to shop or relax in a spa, then Kuta is the best place. There are a lot of spas with the massage prices ranging from IDR 60,000 to 150,000. There are also a lot of shops to buy clothes and souvenirs but you really need to bargain a lot to get a good deal.
The cab dropped us at the hotel booked through booking.com at 4 am . The hotel was Bali Manik beach inn. It was a cheap hotel as we only need to stay for 4 hours. After having unsatisfactory breakfast provided by hotel we walked to the beautiful Kuta beach and spend there half hour. We also visited beachwalk shopping centre. There on the roadside shop we booked rafting for next day @ ₹1500 p.p.
On Day 4, we proceeded towards Kuta, where we had booked ourselves for another 3 nights, in Kuta Heritage Resort, an Accor property located right across the Kuta beach. While we moved from Ubud to Kuta in our car (Thanks to Nyoman, again) we could see a stark change in the surroundings. My heart was evidently sad for leaving beautiful Ubud behind. Kuta was different. It was busy, full of tourists, surfers, party-goers, and lot more fast-paced in general.
It was again a gruelling 1 hr 45 minutes journey back to Kuta, and our back was aching and the bums were burning due to long hours of sitting on the Scooty. Inspite of breaks, it does take a toll on your back and the bums! But its all worth in the end :DWe ended our day with a nice candle light dinner near Legian Beach at a local warung relishing on the yummy Bebek Betutu and Nasi Goreng. We were so satisfied with our day’s visit and food, we must have slept so nicely that day!Day 4:We had decided the very famous Uluwatu Temple as our first destination for the day.
