Best things to do in Baga and sightseeing in Baga

This is a place which was first discovered by the hippies and is situated in the Northern part of Goa. This is a beach known to be one of the most popular in Goa and is surrounded by the Calangute Beach on one side and the Anjuna Beach on the other side. The Baga Beach starts from where the Calangute Beach ends though the place cannot be exactly pin pointed. This is also a shoppers paradise with all sorts of flea markets and the fresh seafood is wow over here. Also, you can enjoy a number of water sports and activities in this beach area such as jet skiing, para sailing, surfing and others. The people around here are always in a festive mood and dance and music are a major part of their culture here. They have carnivals during christmas and New Year too. Also, the people here are very religious and the main religion followed here is Christianity. The lifestyle here is a blend of Indian and Portuguese to a large extent. This is a stunning evidence of the fact that Goa was under the rule of Portuguese colonies till even a decades ago before it was taken over by the Indian Government.

Baga Beach - Baga

One of the most popular as well as one of the most charming locations of Bardez, this is one out of the main beaches of the region. Especially, after the sun sets, the beach is beautifully lit up and so are the food shacks around. Carnivals are also organized here periodically and being here is absolutely blissful. If you feel the place is too crowded, the secret is that the region on the northern end of the beach where you find the main carpark or the mouth of the river is mostly crowded. This is because most of the water activity rentals are found over here. If you walk for about 15 minutes from here you will find the crowd thinning out and the beach becoming even more beautiful and peaceful. Besides the scenic beauty, the beach is also cleaner on this part and the water is cleaner too. The warm waters of the Baga Beach are not only fit for water sports but also for some swimming and beach games before that.

so we spent 3 hours after clubbing, here on the Baga to witness the sunrise! Our bad that we missed out that Goa is on west coast so the sunrise turned out to be one of the funniest moment. Still this beach is lively till 4am. Few shacks were still open and playing music.

Baga beach is one of the most happening and lively beach in Goa. It is situated in North Goa. It's one place where you can actually have fun which has no end. People come here, eat, drink, walk or just play in water. Many visitors buy souvenirs from the beach side shops. It looks beautiful during night time. If you like water sports activities, you can try the parasailing, banana rides and dolphin cruises which are just very exciting. Baga beach is very catchy and cool.

Titos Ln - Baga

This is a restaurant cum club cum entertainment center on the shores of the baga Beach and it has now become one of the iconic locations of Goa. This place is mainly known for the party animals but had broken beyond boundaries. The uniqueness of this beach lies in the fact that only couples and women are allowed to party here. This has made it an extreme safe place in spite of the fact that alcohol is what drives the crowd here. The bold music, lights and the crowd just does not let you stay at one place. So just lift up your twinkling toes a little more and get grooving!
Decent place, decent prices. Quality and reputation has taken a hit in the past few years.

Titos Club - Baga

This is the gem of the Baga and the Calangute beach. They allow only women and couples and charge a fixed amount from each which includes everything from snacks and alcohol. The time they keep opened is not much but it is usually enough to enjoy as much as you want. This is simply an iconic location and people just do not return back without being a part of the party in the Tito's Club.
A very famous place at Baga Beach for Clubing, but costly as well for single stags

Alidia(Alirio & Lidia) - Baga

This is probably the best place around the Baga Beach and is better known as the Alidia Beach cottages. Everything about this property is just superb. The owners are wery cooperative and try to accommodate guests even on the busiest days. The rooms are very good and clean and have awesome views from the window. The swimming pool is just in front of the cottages and the food served is awesome too. The breakfast bucket is especially a must try here. You come here once and you are sure to come here again and again.
Unlike my other times in Goa when we have largely been busy driving corner to corner to cover as much as we could during our vacations, this time it was different. We chose to be laid back and just explore the north side where we were staying, and leave South Goa for another dedicated trip. In fact, given that rains are unpredictable in Goa, there is little choice one has but to improvise and make the most of what life gives. Which is why moments after we landed on the beach on our first day, we spotted dark mysterious clouds looming over the horizon, in a way we had never seen them before. We decided it was time to head back to one of the shacks to take refuge from the deluge that poured moments later; spending the next couple of hours watching people merrily dancing away in the rain, getting drenched, running for shelter, all over puffs of hookah.

The first good thing about this place is the luxurious setting and stay which you get at budget rates absolutely. The rooms are really good and clean and the pool is clean too.
