Best things to do in Amphoe Mueang Krabi and sightseeing in Amphoe Mueang Krabi
Phi Phi Islands Ao Nang Krabi Thailand - Amphoe Mueang Krabi
The Phi Phi Island is one of the known and most attractive tourist spot of Southern Thailand. and the Maya Bay is the most beautiful point of Phi Phi Island trip. Ravishing crystal clear water and striking view of the limestone mountain have become the “must visit” destination of Phuket. Here are some of the must do's in phi phi island:- • Good for Snorkeling • Explore Loh Samah Bay and Pileh Lagoon • Discover Maya Bay • A trek to the cave • Enjoy the mind-blowing view at Monkey beach
Ko Phi Phi Le Ao Nang Krabi Thailand - Amphoe Mueang Krabi
We went to PhiPhi islands. The guide on our boat was amazing; she was from Greece & loved Krabi so much that she decided to live here. The view throughout was incredible & the waters pristine, sparkling clear. Unfortunately, almost 70% of the Phi Phi islands were destroyed by the tsunami in 2004. If 30% of Phi Phi islands look so spectacular already, imagine the entirety of how majestic it would look back before the quake. My only regret was not visiting sooner, before most of the islands were wiped out.
Ko Phi Phi Leh Ao Nang Krabi Thailand - Amphoe Mueang Krabi
On my first day in Thailand, I decided to visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market. I did a little shopping at the market and finally bought a few gifts. After spending sometime in Krabi, I headed to the Phi Phi Islands. We headed out for the hour-long ride to the Phi Phi Islands and it was a stunningly beautiful ride. Small islands of limestone cliffs dot the Andaman Sea everywhere you look. Ko Phi Phi is made up of two islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Entering the Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh was like entering another world. The soaring limestone cliffs, turquoise waters and stunning little coves of sandy beach are enough to make you think you’ve died and gone to heaven. It is quite possibly the most beautiful place I have EVER seen. I spent about an hour and a half snorkeling and marveling at the views before heading back to Phi Phi Don for lunch and an afternoon of enjoying the beaches there.
Phi Phi Islands Thailand - Amphoe Mueang Krabi
The Phi Phi Islands were by far the most fascinating natural site I`ve been to. Beautiful beautiful landscapes, white-sand beaches, bluest water, really great.I`ve stayed in a hostel at Phi Phi Don, and it was a party hostel. The whole island turns into a giant club at night, and it gets wild. If you looking for some more peaceful trip, the island have resorts, where you can relax and just enjoy the view and the vibe of the island - at a price $$.
Ton Sai Ao Nang Krabi Thailand - Amphoe Mueang Krabi
Rocking out: Ton Sai & Railay (5 days of a community you’ll never want to leave) Once you’re done with the beauty of Ko Lanta (if that’s such a thing) then head back up to the mainland. Boats frequently go from these southern islands to Krabi and once you’re here, you can either wander around the little town or hop straight onto a longtail boat to the bays around the corner from Krabi’s main beach, Ao Nang. Yes, this is a hectically busy guide. I didn’t say it was going to be a breezy walk in the park though! Alright, around the corner lies the awesome Ton Sai. I fondly refer to this as my slice of paradise as it’s a place that has drawn me back many times and I don’t care if I have to go alone. Surrounded by the towering limestone cliffs, Ton Sai is a teeny community of rock climbers and chilled locals. Electricity runs between 5pm – 5am and every guest house will look after you like you’re their first-born child. After two days, you’ll know everyone’s name; after four days you’ll cry at the thoughts of leaving your new family. Try some rock climbing on many of the cliffs or if you have no upper-body strength, lie flat on Railey Beach. Stay in Ton Sai for the vibes and cheap accommodation, climb over the secret cliff to Railay for the huge white beach. I feel a bit sad to tell everyone about Ton Sai, but that’s because I’m a bit selfish and want to keep it to myself…
Krabi Thailand - Amphoe Mueang Krabi
It is a great place for adventure. It is pretty commercial, but worth every penny especially if you love to explore small beaches. We did running, climbing, scuba and some good music and chilled beer to beat the heat. We also met some good people and came home fresh. This wouldn't have happened without my friends. They made it a memorable trip for me.
