I am a freelance writer currently traveling around South East Asia, enjoying all the joys that it has to offer. So far it's Sumatra's delights (Orang Utans, snorkelling, tempe sambal, Bintang) that have totally stolen my heart. Before jetting off to the far east I used to be the editor of a history magazine so I hope that writing about the modern world doesn't prove too much for me!
