I am somebody who is at home pretty much anywhere on earth especially when traveling solo, but of course the hippie destinations are even more welcoming. My first major solo trip was to Nepal for a month, when I was just a few months shy of turning 22! It was one amazing experience - lived in monasteries, went trekking and didnt want to come back home! ha ha Had the pleasure to take many such wonderful long trips to beautiful destinations like Gokarna, Hampi, Pondicherry etc. But these days, it is mostly just a stolen weekend here in Kodai or Fort Kochi and a week there in Rishikesh once a while.
