Best time to visit:With the onset of monsoons in July to October
Rajmachi- One of the monsoon spots near Pune, that has breathtaking views throughout the journey from the base camp to the fort!.wrapped up with luscious greenery, sprayed with mist all through the day.The journey to the fort is hard through the rugged and dampy roads, but still it is balanced much more by the natural streams and lovely views that soothes and actually prevents the traveler from getting tired! The route is blessed with wild flowers with contrasting patterns and colors which makes us to think "nature is the best teacher for the fashion designers".The village is occupied by the locals, living with nature-a common and simple way of living.
The journey to the fort is soo much challenging and interesting. At an altitude of 2710 mts from the sea level,it gives an awesomatic view of the Sahyadri mountain ranges and the entire Rajmachi village!!Most of the time, there is only mistscape at an altitude of few meters below the fort's tip.One can Inhale an exhale mist!!
The best lessons of life are learnt from travelling!!When I went to Rajmachi, I learnt the actual meaning of
#Not giving up in the hard situations
#When life seems to be soo much rugged and unstable, balance it by remembering the beautiful moments that helped you to travel your,"life 's journey" till now!!. Good things take time!!
-Remembering the rugged roads of Rajmachi to reach the final blessing of the entire view at the top!!
Travel time: From Pune 1 hr and 45 mins approx to the base camp of Rajmachi and 2 1/2 hrs from Mumbai.
