One fine Friday sitting and thinking of doing something in the weekend, it just turned up to go on a road trip but where was the real question ? So after little googling we ended up picking Coorg aka Kodagu, Karnataka as our destination however reaching there was not the goal. The plan was to stay on roads and drive as much as possible, challenge being the only one who could drive among the four of us. Fortunately I love to drive specially if the road is smooth and hopefully less traffic if you will. For those who are not aware, Pune - Bangalore Highway is a delight to drive on and so we locked on to this plan.
Booked a comparatively cheap self driven car from Drivezy and we were all set to go on an approximately 2500 kms to & fro road trip in 3 days. Since we mostly were on the roads I will let photos do the talking from here on.
Finally we started driving back to Pune from Coorg. At first we thought to stay somewhere in the night but then driving throughout the night sounded more pleasing to ears and hence we did.
Driving continuously till 4 in the morning after a full day's drive and tour to different part of the city was quite taxing however having good company & so much to talk relieved me from that. Took a pit stop at a petrol pump to sleep in the car for an hour and then another one after crossing the next toll. The next stop we took was for breakfast after crossing Kohlapur.
By this time I was completely exhausted however the thrill of driving on a good road kept me going. Finally managed to reach Pune by 3 in the afternoon took a nap for about 3-4 hours. Had to return the vehicle so thought to do it after dinner. That's how you look after driving almost 2500 kms in 3 days.
But the trips ends so many memories and smiles.
