About the property

The Taj Lake palace was earlier called the Jat Niwas where Maharana Jagat Singh II of Udaipur used to spend moonlight picnics with the ladies, it was his own pleasure palace. This was restored after to its original glory & became world renowned. It became so famous that a James Bond film, Octopussy was filmed here. Its location in the middle of the lake offers some breathtaking views from the room of the Aravalli Hills, Jag Mandir & City Palace. Unclear
