About the property
A property of Thakur Bhoj Pal, son of the Maharaja of Karauli, the Ramathra Fort honours Lord Rama who is believed to have camped here while on his epic journey to Lanka. The fort is now owned by Thakur Brijendra Raj Pal and his family, descendants of the founder, who have restored this ancient property into a modern, boutique accommodation.
The walls of the palatial fort now house a luxury-laden hotel that offers top-class services and amenities, without destroying its historical importance. Ramathra Fort has some gorgeous valley-facing luxury rooms and suites that come adept with facilities such as comfortable beds, designated work stations, air conditioning, minibars and swanky attached bathrooms.

Best time to go

Getting there
By Road: The easiest and most convenient way to reach the Ramathra Fort is to drive down from New Delhi. The property is located at a distance of 350 km from New Delhi and it takes approximately seven hours to cover the distance.
By Train: There are several express trains from New Delhi to Shri Mahabirji, the nearest railway station to Ramathra Fort. It takes about four to five hours in this journey. Once you get down at the railway station, hire a cab to get to the property in about two hours (80 km).
By Flight: The nearest airport to the Ramathra Fort is in Jaipur. There are several daily flights starting at ₹2000 that connect Delhi to Jaipur. Once you get down at the airport, hire a cab to get to the property in another three and a half hours (160 km).
