A 5-day guide to exploring Paris:

Day 1: You can spend the first day by taking long walks around the city; Champs-Élysées can be your starting point from where you can see the Arc de Triomphe; take a walk to Jardin des Tuileries; pay a visit to Notre Dame; head to the Roman ruins and the Saint-Chapelle Church.

Day 5: Go to Paris' catacombs; visit the Rue Mouffetard street that is filled with various cafes; you can also indulge in some souvenir shopping here; Montmartre is another street that portrays art and will definitely interest you if you are an art enthusiast.

Brussels

Best Time to Visit Paris

Peak Season is from March to May. These months usher in the spring season to Paris. The weather during these months is the best time for outdoor activities and sightseeing.

Shoulder SeasonJune to August welcomes the summers to Paris. These are the months when the city receives the most sunshine.

Off-season: November to February are the winter months when the tourists start thinning out. Henceforth, the accommodation and travel costs reduce.

Visa Information for Paris

Visa is mostly not required for a visit of up to 90 days or at all for EU nationals, with France being a member of the Schenegen Agreement. Indians and some other nationalities need a Schengen visa. There are no border controls for the countries that are a part of the treaty, such as the European Union (except Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania, United Kingdom), Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

Citizens of Australia, the USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and many Latin American countries do not need visas to visit France as tourists for up to 90 days.
