Auckland
Today you can choose from activities depending on your taste! But since it's your last day, you may want to just relax in each other's arms and not venture out much. If you do wish to go out, you can pick from two of the most popular activities in Auckland. For movie buffs, this will be a Lord Of The Rings (LOTR) Middle Earth Tour. This famous movie was shot in many parts of New Zealand and the Hobbit houses are located only an hour away from Auckland. You can go for a half or full day excursion to these places. A typical tour will include a guided tour of the LOTR movie sets where you can see the Green Dragon Inn and the home of Bilbo Baggins. You will then proceed for a boat ride through the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. For those who wish to spend their last day in a more romantic manner, you can go for a full-day excursion to Waiheke Island for a food and wine-tasting tour. A guided tour and tasting at three of Waiheke Island's vineyards: Stonyridge, Casita Miro and Mudbrick followed by some olive tasting at Rangihoua Estate and ending with a splendid lunch. Just ensure that whatever expedition you pick, you are back in time for your flight back home.Activities for the day: Hobbit Movie Set tour or Waiheke Island food and wine tour.Cost: The Hobbit movie set tour generally costs around 340 NZD or Rs.15,700 and a Waiheke island tour costs around 155 NZD or Rs. 7,200 per person.
Wellington
Make Your Way To Two Fun Days In WellingtonThe capital of New Zealand, Wellington is vivacious for all the right reasons considering its many art galleries, museums, restaurants, pubs and high end boutiques. The traffic is the (not so sweet) cherry on top and makes it a bustling metropolis to the core. The weather is crazy but the city with its gazillion distinct features (including some great architecture and an impressive harbour) is beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable.
Christchurch
Christchurch - the largest city in South Island was my final destination. An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck Christchurch in 2011, causing severe damage to the entire city. Thus, most parts of this city are now under restoration and there is not much to explore here as of now. I spent the evening with my Stray friends, discussing the highlights of the trip and bidding final adieus over dinner and drinks. In a nutshell...With 150kms of walking and hiking over 2 weeks, temperatures ranging from -2 to +21 degrees Celsius, mesmerising landscapes draped in autumn colours, bungy jumping, sky-diving and hitchhiking for the very first time and loads of strangers who turned friends - solo backpacking in the land of fern-trees, mountains, kiwis and sheep was one hell of an adventure. I must admit that I am totally in love with this country and is truly the best country, of the 18 countries I have visited so far.
Queenstown
I had my first bungy experience at the Kawarau Bridge which is the birthplace of Bungy. I was insanely anxious and laughing hysterically out of nervousness standing on the edge of the bridge and before I could blink, I jumped off the bridge screaming with fear and joy. And as I hung there, upside down I was glad that I was still alive to soak in the experience.

6. Tablet / small size laptop : Each day in new zealand will give you the chance to click million of pics. Suggest you to carry tablet or laptop with good memory storage to transfer your pictures data every day.
Rotorua
8. Sun Protection and Anti-tan lotion: Sun heat though not scorching but has strong impact. During my trip, i lost so much color because of not using Protection lotion and this thing I realised only after coming back from the trip.SO MAKE SURE YOU CARRY SUN PROTECTION OF 35 SPF PLUS UVB.9.Money/ travel cards/forex cards

Best Time to Visit New Zealand

Peak Season: (Dec−Feb) This is the ideal time to visit New Zealand if you want to indulge in outdoor activities. Most of the public places are busy during this period of time.

Shoulder Season: (Mar-Apr) The weather is warm during this period, ideal to visit the beaches as there is not a lot of rush. There are fewer tourists during this period compared to that at the beginning of the year.

Off-season: (May-Aug) It's that time of the year when the adventure activities are in full flow, the Southern Alps is one such place where you can try out skiing.
