Trip to the city of love with my love :) – Paris
This was very special trip to us as we were travelling with our 6 months old angel, We started our journey from Badhonnef Germany where we went for official purpose, we want to visit Paris in as less price as possible keeping in mind to stay at reasonable place and have proper food, so with consultation with Rhein tourist and some research on internet, we decided to go to cologne by train and from their we booked a Euroline bus to paris, With this we got a chance to cover cathedral in cologne and Brussels, Bus ticket was only 45 euro's from cologne to Paris, we were very excited about our trip , the excitement of going to Paris "Dream destination of many" and managing things on our own was unforgettable. we got down on bus station in Paris and ask 1 taxi driver about how much he will take to drop us at our hotel, To our surprise he said 200 euros approx (as per meter), then we asked him to suggest some cheaper way to reach our destination, he suggested to take metro and from the bus stop in Paris we took a metro to saint Lazare metro station which was hardly 5mins walk from our hotel, the metro was old but it only costs us 5 euros and yipee , we reached faster with metro by paying nothing compared to taxi, Also we had memorable experience of booking metro ticket with the help of 1 stranger, this was my first trip with family outside India and the beauty of it was uncertainty as i have not planned specific things , we just booked a hotel and bus ticket to Paris , while return journey, we booked via Euro rail because it was Monday and it was costing 60 euro's and taking 4 hours lesser time than bus....
