One of the best places I have ever seen where there is scrumptous food, culture, architecture all thrown in together. A canal runs in the midst of the city and malls and restaurants run parallel to this canal. You find ducks randomly roaming around among the crowd. There is so much energy in the place that it automatically charges you. Visit this place preferably after dusk.
Poison Spider Bicycles
This shop is hopping with locals and tourists alike. All hands always on deck to help you decide which two wheels are best for you, pump up your tires, or patch a flat. If you've got your own gear but need help route-finding, you can bet that the guys at Poison Spider have ridden it.
On our way to Naples, instead of taking the normal route which is I-75 interstate highway, we took a different route - I-41 interstate highway through Tamiami Trail which went through everglades. First I thought that it will be like going on a normal road but I was completely surprised when I saw an alligator. Then I saw one more. I started counting but there were hundreds of them.
White Oak Canyon Trail
The hike to the first waterfall is a gradual climb and about a mile and a half. It's dog-friendly, unlike Old Rag - and much easier too. If it has rained be aware that you may have to ford a couple of streams. There are lots of rocks on the trail so be careful if you have ankle problems. The hike is within Shenandoah National Park. Be sure to get there early to find parking!
Sol Duc Falls
Like previous day we met at around 5.30 AM and drove to Sol Duc river. We looked around wherever there was a chance to see Bears, there was no luck so we went on a trail to click some landscape images and waterfall images. By lunch time we were back and had lunch at Black Bear Diner a must visit place. After lunch Ken had left for Tacoma and he suggested I should go to Ruby beach it was a 2 hrs drive would be amazing to click sunset images. I overslept and woke up at around 7 PM. I drove as fast as I could and got there by around 9.30 PM. Sunset was just calling off the day and sinking into the sea, I had quickly set up my tripod and started timelapse and on the other camera clicked some sunset images.
