Leap Castle

The Leap Castle is reportedly one of the most haunted castles in the world. Its rumored that the hallways are patrolled by “the Elemental,” an unseen force. The castle is allegedly haunted because it hosted historic slaughters and was even built on top of a torture pit.

Rock of Cashel

8:30 AM - We had breakfast at our B&B and met an awesome American couple who live in Cape May, NJ and were following the same itinerary as us today, to include our overnight at Powerscourt Hotel. Small world! After breakfast we booked it to The Rock of Cashel, which was an important monastic site that became the first seat of an arch bishop in Ireland, marking the end of independent Abbot-lead monasteries in Ireland.
