One last thing important thing is that camping in the Kudremukh forest isnt allowed....
Kudremukh in Kannada language literally means 'horse's face' as one side of the Kudremukh mountain resembles a horse's face. Kudremukh is the 3rd highest mountain of Karnataka after Mullayangiri and Baba Budan giri. Kudremukh is also the name of a hill station and iron ore mining town situated on the foothills of the Kudremukh mountain. Apart from trekking, which is the main activity that you can do here, the Kudremukh National Park is the major attraction here. The stretches of lush greenery and the blissful sounds of the rivers Tunga and Bhadra Rivers, the view of beautiful birds and the gorgeous animals all make your visit to the park extremely satisfactory. The main animals you will find here are civets, wild dogs, sloth bears and spotted deer. The Kadambi Falls inside this national park is also a place of interest for all visitors.
