On the next day we paid a visit to the famous places which are nearest to Leh, such as Thiksey Monastery, Rancho School, Sindhi Ghat, Hemis Monastery ,Leh palace,Etc In the evening we visited the Hall of Fame a museum run by The Indian Army and Indian Air Force not be the list The Northern Command too.After spending few hours their we had the view of the evening parade....

The charming spell of the lake was broken when hunger pangs attacked.In search of a place to eat,we landed up at the few shops lining the lake and not surprisingly,saw the restaurant named “3-idiots”.When Amir Khan shot the climax of the 2009 movie on the shores of Pangong lake,he changed the demographics forever as swarms of Indians yearned to be at this place.The lake was known to travelers and foreign tourists but very few Indians knew of this place.It’s magical what a movie can do for a place inIndia.So after eating maggi at 3-idiots and having tea at Rancho’s we sat by the lake to watch some more changing hues of blue....

Day 13-- Day for Leh tour:1)- Saw the Zorawar fort.The Zorawar Fort at Leh is a reminder of the legendary Gen Zorawar Singh’s military exploits.2)-Shey palace-The Shey Monastery or Gompa and the Shey Palace complex are structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 km to the south of Leh in Ladakh.The main Shakyamuni Buddha statue in the monastery is a 12 metres icon covering three floors of the monastery.there are beautiful scenic views of the indus valley from the shey palace.Perched on top of the hill, the monastery commands panoramic view of the surroundings of Thikse, Stakna, Matho, Stok and also Leh.3)-Rancho school--three idiots wala... in this school where sections are named against different passes for example--zojila section.... there is ''three idiot wall'' to remember that the movie was shot in this school...rancho coffee where we had snacks. 4)-Hemis-The monastery of Hemis is situated on a green hill, surrounded by spectacular mountains....
