Day 1

The much awaited family vacation starts. We were a family of 6 and my lil man ( 2.5 years old then ).With a lil nervousness of a late night flight 4.5 hours long with our lil darling we began our journey from Hyderabad to Singapore ! We reached the much talked about country at 7 in the morning ( Singapore time). Marvelling the architecture and absolutely no traffic we reached our far away stay from airport in no time. We had a 3.5 Bhk Airbnb booked and had a quick breakfast and went to take some nap to regain our energies.

In the evening we headed to our first spot the Night Safari ! The experience was one of a kind. Putting on our nocturnal caps we took a tour and spotted wild animals. We also enjoyed the fire acrobats being held at the entrance.

We returned to our stay and slept tight.

Day 2

Today was the day for our Singapore city tour. We started with the flyer and it was refreshing one hour. Spending and viewing the aerial Singapore island while rotating on the giant wheel like cabins was a good feeling. We clicked snaps , saw amazing views and appreciated the beauty in front of our eyes.

Next we went to the Merlion park and got ourselves sprinkled with joy !

Our next stop was the China Town and Thian Hock temple. We offered our prayers and observed the Chinese way of rituals before proceeding to take our lunch.

We had our tickets booked for the Garden by the bay in the evening covering the flower and  cloud dome.

Cloud dome was amazing .. artificial waterfall with spiral paths took our breath away. After enjoying these two artificial garden we had our dinner and prepared for the next exciting day ahead

Day 3

It was a very exciting day for us as it was a Sentosa day !! Reached early and took our 120 token pass that was prebooked. Now we had done some background work before coming as to what to cover first.
We marched straight to the S.E.A Aquarium.

Our lil one was amazed and mesmerized to see so many underwater creatures... Jelly fish , crabs , the shark , the star fish and yes the dolphins ! We even got the opportunity to touch a few of these and the experience can't be described in mere words !

We spent more than a couple of hours in the aquarium and then went to have a quick grab to refill ourselves.

Next we opted for the Madame Tussauds + 7D ride combo. Madame was thrilling .. Posing and enjoying with the top celebrities of India and the world. There was also an area where we could dance along with the virtual onscreen dancers. We enjoyed that a lot. Next we were introduced to the culture and history of Singapore with a timeline view through some entertaining dramatisation.

We had to choose one more segment before we ran out of our token and time as well. We chose the trick eye museum and with the helpdesk assistance were able to start the amazing photography journey. We tried all the props and poses and enjoyed ourselves.
Exhausted we returned and slept.

Day 4

This was a thrilling day as we had to spend the day at the Universal Studios. One tip is to always go for the fast track passes as you don't get to upgrade the normal ones due to limited fast track ones.

We started with a few theme based rides like Madagascar , Jungle bay so that our kiddo could have fun. We then stole ourselves for a few thrill rides. The Mummy was my personal favorite.

Places to eat - the Egyptian segment has a extraordinary restraunt with delicacies.

In the evening we went to the Hollywood segment where we had street shows and enjoyed meeting the Bumble bee transformer !

We came back had our dinner and slept early as we had a early morning flight to Langkawi.

Day 5

The morning was not a pleasant one as the visa for my son had incorrect passport expiry date and din't match the passport. The Singapore officials scared us out with the possibility of deportment by langkawi authorities. To re apply the visa would take atleast 4 days and we were tensed as to what to be done. Myself and hubby stayed back with our kid and asked others to continue the journey.

After few research on net we decided to buy a ticket to Penang to get Visa on arrival for Indians travelling via singapore and an onwards travel to Langkawi.
Finally a few hours late than our planned arrival we reached the beautiful Langkawi. We stayed at the Berjaya Resort. One of the best I have stayed till date and Langkawi views were one to die for ! The beautiful hills surrounding the clean blue beach..Paradise in true sense.

Next day we visited the sky cable and reached the top overlooking the sky bridge. The ride to the top was spectacular.. travelling beyond the clouds and the moist air drizzling lightly on us.. It's inexpressible to be honest..

Then we explored the Oriental village and came back to resort to enjoy the beach...

Day 7

We had a full day trip to Gentings and had some fun filled moments there. We did a pit stop at the Batau caves and it's a must visit. The ride to Gentings is pleasant and it's basically a mall with an indoor amusement park and casinos. We also experienced the Casino there. While returning we visited the Independence square and knew a little history around it. We had our return flights the next day so did all our preparations and returned back with a bag full of lovely memories
