  • Today to start with your Spiti Valley Tour Holiday Adventure Package, you will be met from your train / flight at Chandigarh by our driver, and we will drive you to Shimla (4 hrs) via Barog, Solan.
  • Enroute you will stop for lunch break and comfort breaks.
  • Depending on the time Visit the Mall road of Shimla in the evening with its heritage building like Christ Church, Scandal point, Gaiety Theater, Lower bazaar, Lakkar bazaar and the Tibetan market.
  • Later transfer to the hotel in Shimla for 1 night.

  • We drive through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda, and Rampur famous for apple, apricot and cherry orchards. We will stop for lunch after Rampur and reach Sangla valley by evening where we will check in to the hotel in Rakcham 2,900 metres/ 9,510 feet ( 235 kms/ 9 hrs).

  • Rakcham- Chitkul – Kamru - Reckong Peo- Kalpa
  • After breakfast at your hotel, check out at 08:45 A.M and we will visit Chitkul 3,450 metres / 11,318 feet (10 kms/ 40 minutes) the Last Indian Village on the Indo Tibet Border in Baspa Sangla valley.
  • The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale, and you will have a chance to walk slowly around it. The landscapes are stunning, and you will have plenty of time to walk around and enjoy them.
  • Later drive to Sangla and walk through Kamru village famous for the beautifully carved ancient temple, Buddhist monastery and the tower like Kamru Fort. Later we continue drive you to Kalpa village 2,960 metres / 9,711 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs).
  • Enroute we will stop at Reckong Peo the district headquarters of Kinnaur district and will have a walking tour around the local market.
  • Continue drive to Kalpa (7 kms), where you will check in to the hotel overlooking the village and the magnificent Kinner Kailash Mountain Ranges.
  • The finest view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6,050 metres /19,850 feet) can be had from Kalpa. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light.
  • The Kalpa village is covered with thick pine forests and is famous for fruit orchards of plums, apricots and apples. Evening is free to walk around Kalpa. Overnight stay in Kalpa for 1 night.

  • Today the mountain views changes from green to brown as we arrive at the beautiful Nako village with traditional houses, where you can have your lunch and enjoy the spectacular views of the Nako Lake, village and the Himalayas in the backdrop. You will take a walking tour around the village which will provide you chances to interact with the local tribal community.
  • The village of Nako in the upper Kinnaur valley is famous for the Nako lake and the Buddhist monastery related to guru Padma Sambhava (a great Buddhist scholar, whose teachings spread to Tibet from India).It also has the residence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama ji, which was made here for the Kalchakara teachings
  • Today at Sumdo Check post we will be entering the beautiful Spiti valley the Land between Tibet and Ladakh is the best offbeat Tourism Destination in Himalayas. In Spiti you will experience the wonders and natural beauty that will keep you spell bound for a long time.
  • We will also visit the Gue village in Spiti valley which is famous for its naturally preserved Mummy of a Buddhist monk (Sangha Tenzin). The 15th century old, mummified body, in a sitting meditation pose of the Buddhist monk is naturally preserved due to the cold,dry and harsh weather of Spiti valley.
  • The mummy of Gue village is believed to be around 600 years old, which was discovered here from a Stupa after the earth quake in 1975, while the Indo Tibet Border Force was clearing the area and building the road. Very clearly you can see the teeth, hairs and the well preserved skin on the bones of the Mummy of Gue in the Himalayas.
  • Later we continue to Tabo and check in to the hotel by evening for 1 night. Evening free to walk around Tabo village and explore the nearby cave monasteries in Tabo.

  • Tabo- Dhankar - Pin Valley- Kungri – Mudh - Kaza
  • Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas founded in 996 A.D. Tabo Monastery is famous for its art and History and is the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monument in the World and the Himalayas with its original decorations, iconographic and wall paintings.
  • The Tabo monastery compound have 9 chapels and the 32 life size clay sculptures in the main Assembly hall are the major highlights to experience.
  • Later we continue to visit the famous Dhankar village – set up in the most dramatic settings of Spiti, famous fort (in ruins) and monastery. It is a small pretty village on a hill with an open view of valley down the side. Views are majestic from the top of the fort and monastery and one can see vast expanses of the Spiti valley. The setting is so beautiful and dramatic that this monastery should not be missed. If interested you can even walk uphill to the Dhankar Lake (1 hrs each side).
  • Today we will also visit the Kungri monastery in the famous Pin valley, which is a side valley in Spiti and famous for the Pin valley National Park- home to a variety of rare animals like the snow Leopard, snow ibex, the Himalayan blue sheep and the thar.
  • Depending on the road condition we do visit the last village Mudh in Pin Valley. Later we continue our drive to Kaza where you will check in to the hotel / home stay for 2 nights. Evening is free to explore the local market in Kaza. Overnight in a hotel at Kaza for 2 nights.

  • Local Sightseeing Kaza- Hikkim- Komic- Langza- Key-Kibber- Chicham
  • Today after breakfast you will leave for the full day sightseeing tour to explore the World’s highest Himalayan villages and monasteries around Kaza.
  • We will drive you to Hikkim village where you visit the World’ highest Post office located (4,400 metres / 14,436 feet). You can write and send the post cards to your loved ones from here.
  • Later we will drive you to Komic village ( 4,587 metres / 15,050 feet) which is now the world’s highest village joined to a motorable road . We will visit the Komic monastery (women are not allowed inside the monastery.) The village provides magnificent Himalayan Mountain views.
  • We will drive you to visit the Langza village where you will visit the village monastery. Langza village is the part of the most fossil rich areas in the world by the Geological Survey of India and the Geological Society of America.
  • After lunch we will take a walk around the statue of the Buddha overlooking the snow capped mountain peaks.
  • In the late afternoon we visit Key Monastery which is the largest monastery in Spiti valley. The monastery is an irregular jumble of low rooms and narrow corridors on a conical hill. The prayer chambers are interconnected by dark passages, tortuous staircases and small doors. Hundreds of monks receive their religious training in the monastery.
  • We will also visit the Kibber village which is the part of Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Here you have an option to walk to the nearby mountains where there are chances to search the big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex , which can be seen in the nearby mountains.
  • We will also visit the Chicham village and the Suspension bridge on a gorge.
  • The villages or Hikkim, Langza, and Kibber are home to the Snow Leopards in the winters when they come down from the Himalayan Mountains to the villages in search of food. We do organise Spiti Snow Leopard Winter Tour during January and February, which is the best time to see these beautiful animals. Later drive to Chicham village for overnight stay in home stay with local family or you can choose to stay overnight in Kaza for the second night stay.

  • Kaza – Losar- Kunzum Pass - Chandra Taal Lake
  • Today after breakfast check out from the hotel at 08:30 AM and continue your Spiti Valley Tour Holiday Adventure Package, you will be driven to Chandrataal Lake 4,270 metres / 14,100 feet (100 kms / 5 hrs), where we will stay 1night in a fixed tented accommodation. Today you will drive over the Mountain Pass, Kunzum La 4,551 metres/ 14,932 feet, which provides beautiful views of CB ranges and Himalayan Glaciers. Kunzum Pass is the Gateway from Spiti to Lahaul valley or to Manali from Spiti Valley. The Bara Shigri glacier can be seen in front of the pass. Snow covered mountains and glaciers can be seen throughout the year from the Kunzum Pass which is open in early June to mid October depending on the snowfall. There is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kunzum, where each vehicle stops and takes blessing of the Goddess for their safe journey.
  • We will arrive Chandrataal Lake by late afternoon check into the fixed tented accommodation. Later walk the last 1 kilometers to visit the Chandertaal Lake also known as the "Lake of the Moon", as on full moon night it appears as if the moon and the stars have come down to the lake. At full moon night the reflection of the moon and stars can be seen in lake water. It is the largest and broadest lake in the region (1 skm. in length). This clear blue water lake lies in a broad grassy plain with a presence of rugged mountains, snow covered peaks and it presents a picturesque beauty of nature to the visitors. Spend you afternoon walking around the lake and have relaxing time admiring the natural beauty of Chandrataal Lake. Overnight in Fixed tented accommodation at Chandrataal Lake for 1 night.

  • Chandrataal Lake- Batal - Khoksar- Atal Tunnel- Solang valley- Manali
  • Today after breakfast check out from the camping accommodation at Chandrataal lake and drive to Manali through Batal, Chatru, Khoksar and the through the newly built Atal Tunnel, below Rohtang Pass in Lahaul Valley, which with a length of 9.02 kms, and is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world.
  • The road stretch from Chandrataal lake to Gramphoo over Kunzum Pass (65 kms), is a quiet rough, bumpy road and we cross couple of water streams this day. Our experienced and expert driver drives carefully and takes care of your comfort and safety on the Himalayan roads. Just a few kilometres after Atal Tunnel towards Manali, we do visit Solang Valley and arrive Manali by late afternoon. Check into the hotel and later evening is free to relax or to explore the Mall road of Manali / Old Manali where you can finish up your final shopping before returning back home. Overnight at Manali for 1 night.

Payment Process
  • For Booking Your Tour :
  • A. 50 % of the amount initial to book your tour package as an advance for the tour.
  • B. 30 % of the Balance amount you have to pay 20 days before the date of starting your tour making 80 % of the total amount in advance.
  • C. Rest of the Balance 20 % payment should be completed on arrival and the very first day of the tour in Cash or by online payment Mode, but definitely before the commencement of the tour services.

* The tour itinerary is subject to favourable weather and road conditions. In case of a bad weather and inaccessibility to certain destinations we will try our best to make alternate plans. The tour price will not be refunded / not to be adjusted in the event of unfavourable weather or road conditions. Any changes in travel itinerary/ hotel accommodations after the tour has begin will cost extra along with the alteration charges as stated above in the “Price Guarantee and Alteration Of The Booked Tour” Section.

* A/C in the car will not work in the hill area ; it will be available in the plains during the rest of journey. In case you need full A/c service in the car during the tour, it is going to cost you extra and you need to discuss it with us while planning your holiday tour with us.

* All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.

* We request that you limit your baggage to maximum 15-22 Kgs., per person.

* Internal flights in India provide 15 Kgs -1 piece luggage + 7 kgs hand baggage in cabin and extra baggage weight will cost extra charges payable at the airline, airport counter directly by clients.

* Due to any circumstances, if you want to leave your tour in- between (except of lockdown by the government) then he /she / you will not be refunded with any unused part of the tour amount.

* No Refunds will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, unused transportation car, bike/ flights/ trains segments, sightseeing tours or any other activities/ services due to bad weather, ill health, strikes, political rallies, road blockage or any other factors beyond our controls. Such unused items are neither refundable, nor exchangeable and non transferable.

* Rooms allocation is done by the hotel depending on the availability, at the time of your check in at the hotel and the room category are specified on your hotel confirmation vouchers provided by us.

* People joining us on Motorbike tours -wearing a helmet, carrying a valid driving license is mandatory.

While cancellation-- the motive of Summit Safari India, is to provide the maximum refund back to the clients, which is possible to get back after all cancellations regarding the tour.
