Day 1

After a 4 hr flight (AirAsia) from Bangalore intl airport (BLR) to Bangkok (DMK) airport, we had to wait for around 2 hours to get the VOA done and finally we are out on the way to Pattaya our first destination.

Though it took literal 4 hours to reach pattaya in the hectic morning traffic, the drive after crossing bangkok (2 hours to get out of city) was really good.

Felt too comfortable and good friendly hotel

So after reaching our hotel Citrus Parc in Pattaya, we had a nice warm reception given to us, and their services are worth an appreciation. Had a comfortable stay too. After breakfast in hotel, off we are headed to our first place to visit... TIGER PARK.

Set aside your fears and do have a great time here in tiger park, where you could face real tigers very close than you could ever.

The next place we visited was jomtien beach and to be frank it was a huge disappointment. The only advantage is there aren't any crowd, but Pattaya beach is far more awesome comparatively.

So off we are headed to Pattaya beach..!

In the background is the iconic Pattaya city board. The place was far more comfortable and nice compared to jomtien beach.

We had our lunch along the pattaya beach in Burger king which was cost efficient and had a good stroll along the beachside.

Towards the evening, we headed to The art in paradise museum. It is worth making a visit if you interested in clicking some funny and memorable pics ( down the years, you'll have a good laugh at it guaranteed ).

and inside the sin city of asia

had a hearty breakfast breakfast in the same hotel and we left pattaya towards Bangkok on a 2 hour drive.

there was a heavy onslaught of rain for about an hour before we could make a visit to sun god. We got ourselves fully drenched in rain and a cup of tea made the weather feel really great.

We decided to go on the famous river cruise of bangkok towards the end of the day (small advice be prepared to face something above hectic traffic). We literally ran 8Kms to cover up the time not to miss the cruise, Which we realised later was one of the best experience we had

the river cruise was more than our expectations.

Things to remember :

1. Visa on arrival is time consuming if there are many flights arriving at the same time, careful while planning.

2. Taxi is the most expensive thing you'll end up paying to, often more than what you expect.

3. Do try to use public transport wherever possible. Avoid taxis if not in a group.

4. Use klook to book activities, sim card, metro pass and other stuff at a great discount.

5. Always prefer to walk, You make memories, explore the city and save a huge amount of bucks.
