Kedarkantha Snow trek indeed is one of the easiest treks in Himalayas, thought the trek can be done year round however its more popular in the winters, the trek offers some mesmerising views of the surrounding Yamotri and Gangotri ranges in the Himalayas, thick dense forest vast open meadows, loads of snow and whole lot of fun. The experience of climbing up a mountain 12,500 feet above mean sea level and witnessing the mesmerising 360-degree view of the mighty Himalayas is one of a kind. The peak falls in Govind National Park and is part of Singtur Range of Uttrakhand. The trek starts from the picturesque village of Sankri which lies on the border of Himachal and Uttrakhand, the drive takes us from Dehradun along the Yamuna River and then along the Tons River.
