Betwa River
Hault at the open bridge at Betwa river I was walking cautiously on this small, fenceless but strong road over the Betwa river where all humans are going gaga to capture the mesmerising view of the river flowing under the bridge and sun to be drowned very soon. I managed to take a 360º video without messing around with any humans and vehicles.

Weekend Getaways from Bina

Best time to visit - N/A
Considered to be one of the greenest cities in the country, Bhopal, is a place that one cannot afford to leave off their tourist trail. Adorned by many natural and as well as manmade lakes and water bodies, Bhopal is often referred to as the ‘City of Lakes.’ The city is home to a number institutions and places that are of great national importance. The city houses ISRO’s Master Control Facility and the famous National Institute of Technical Training and Research (NITTTR), AIIMS and BHEL. The city has a number of attractions that lure many a tourist to tread along its roads. If one does plan a visit to this city, do not forget to pay a visit to the Bhimbetka Rock Caves, the superb artificial Upper Lake, try out the food at the historic Lazeez Hakeem Restaurant and visit the many mosques here. An unfortunate incident in December 1984 propelled Bhopal into the international arena. The case of the Union Carbide India Limited, a plant that manufactured pesticide, saw the leakage of a poisonous mixture of gases, especially methyl isocyanate that lead to the great disaster. Nevertheless, the city is clean now and promises one a great visit.

About Bina

So, here my journey starts. First, i took a passenger train from Guna to Bina as there was no direct train to delhi on that day. Then from Bina, i boarded Bhopal express and in the morning around 9.00 A.m. , i reached Hazrat Nizamuddin station and from there i went to the nearest metro station and then took a metro to ISBT( Inter State Bus Terminal) Kashmiri gate station. From there i booked a ticket to Bhuntar as there are no direct buses available to Kasol. I took HRTC ( Himachal Road and Transport Corporation) bus as it was cheap, it only cost me around Rs. 650. But, you can also board VOLVO, AC buses which are operated both by HRTC and Private Operators, they cost around Rs. 1200. These buses are available at regular intervals.
