Pre booking for burj Khalifa is must. Otherwise there are no tickets available for the peak time. You can stay as long as you want at the top. It is best to be there an hour before sunset so we can enjoy every view. I.E before sunset, at the time of sunset and after that. Each view has its own charm. I booked a slot of 4;30pm and was there till 8pm. I made the most of it. Sunsets are my favorite and so it was from burj khalifa. They do offer an upgrade from 124th floor to 148th floor for more money but it hardly makes any difference. Dubai from the top is one time view.
360 Degrees - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
This is one of the best clubs in Dubai. Surrounded by the ocean on 3 sides it offers a spectacular view. Live music, the amazing crowd and good drinks set up the mood. Its open till around 2 AM. I just made it here on time. But if you have 1 night in Dubai you should definitely go here.

Barracuda Restaurant - Jumeirah Road - Jumeirah - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Busy Egyptian seafood restaurant with its iconic fish-tail on the roof. Very fresh fish, served cleanly and simply. Don’t over-order! You can always ask for more later. Menu must-haves: Delicate Singary style fish to take your breath away.
Souk Madinat Jumeirah - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
I was a bit late here (reached at 12) and all the markets were closed. (They are wonderful during the day). But you would still love the design of this place. Its a great blend of modern and traditional. With markets, great bars, fantastic and beautiful lighting, lakes. Two places to definitely go here are Barzar - for an outdoor beanbag setting and Trader's vic - for some nice drinks and good live music.
Burj Khalifa - Downtown Dubai - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Bhurj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. It houses a restaurant - AT.MOSPHERE on the 123rd Floor and the view from there is simply breath-taking, it leaves you speechless. The food there is also amazing. There is a strict dress code of western formals at the restaurant.

Dubai Marina - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Its an amazing man made engineering marvel. It looks amazing at night. Its a man made sea with yachts and boats. Highrise buildings lined up on both sides. The view is just amazing and a testimony to how man can play with Nature. Although I won't compare it with nature which is infinitely better than anything man made :)

Watch the radiant lights of The Dubai Fountain as you groove to the resident DJ’s rhythmic mixes, and enjoy a superior experience in every way.
Al Hadeerah Restaurant Dubai - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
The epitome of Arabian dining. Eat on carpets on the sand at the magical Bab al Shams resort. Don’t eat all day, and bring a pashmina because it gets cold at night. Look for an inclusive dine and stay deal – it’s much cheaper. Menu must-haves: Lamb ouzi, Umm Ali
Dubai Miracle Garden - Arjan-Dubailand - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
This passage is very colorful and attractive. One of the things which I loved here. This garden is full of colors. I almost spend five hours in Miracle garden and it was worth it. Sunset is the best time to be there. People who love flowers and nature will go crazy here like my parents. This garden is close to Global Village. These two places can be covered in a day but it can be hectic as both the places involves wondering.
JBR - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Since this was our last night in the UAE, we decided to go to the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) where 40 sandy colored towers light up the marina skyline at night. The sandy shores of Jumeirah beach offer al fresco dining – we chose to sit at ‘Shake Shack’ and this is my personal favorite for the best beef burgers I’ve had till date.We also tried the catch sticks at Catch 22 – you can choose from a variety of them – I liked the Teriyaki Salmon the most.JBR is also known for its stylish boutiques, handicraft shops, community events, supercars and a leisure walk along the waterfront. We noticed the ‘Turkish Ice cream’ stall here that is famous for its vendors playing tricks with the ice cream cone before finally serving it to the customer. People gather around the stall to watch his pranks and make videos that go viral on social media – I’m guilty of one myself :)We were fortunate to be in JBR at 8:30pm as it was time for the fireworks and boy was it amazing! The sky was illuminated with beautiful lights and sparkle – a night full of stars.Lock Stock & Barrel bar was next on our list. A party place that hosts live music bands. This was a perfect place to let your feet tap and groove on their music. A must visit for sure :) After dancing away the night, we were starving so we headed to the famous Lebanese eatery – Zaatar w Zeit. We started with ‘Hummus & Crackers’ which is mashed chickpeas blended with tahini sauce, served with chopped grilled vegetables and toasted multicereal crackers on the side. The ‘Pepperoni Pizza’ was made of beef slices and fresh mushroom with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Back home in India, I am known to always order Pepperoni which is made of pork but this one with beef was something else. I am definitely going back for more!If you’re here, you should definitely try the ‘Manakeesh’, it is a popular Levantine food which consists of dough topped with thyme, cheese or meat. Very similar to a pizza, it can be sliced or folded. The ‘Turkey and Cheese Wrap’ was my favorite – a classic combination of melted cheese topped with slices of smoked turkey, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo mustard. I had two of those on a full stomach and wished I could pack more for the flight back home…It was almost morning once we had satisfied our food cravings and it was time to go back to the hotel with heavy hearts and so many memories. From rooftop pubs and sizzling beach clubs to fancy cocktail caverns and concerts under the stars, Dubai’s shape-shifting party spectrum caters for just about every taste, budget and age group. If you’re planning a trip to Dubai, I hope this blog is helpful and if you already have been there, do comment below with more suggestions and places we could visit next time we are there. Thanks for stopping by :)This post was originally published on Himadri Negi.

IBN is the world’s largest themed shopping mall with a total space of 521,000 square meters, additional 28,000 square meters expansion is on its way. World Islands - The World Islands - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
The World Islands are a cluster of tiny islands which well, form the world. The yiny islands, along with the Palm Jumeirah archipelago were formed as a plan to increase the coast line of Dubai to offer tourists more sun, surf and sand. An engineering marvel, the Islands are home to famous celebrities such as Tom Cruise, David Beckham and Shah Rukh Khan. It is a pleasant and soothing ride to these islands in the lap of the sea. With windows rolled down and mild wind playing with your hair, a trip to these archipelagos is a good way to spend half the day, most preferably the evening when the sun is mellow.
Dubai Water Canal Walk - Al Safa - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
City walk: Situated in between downtown Dubai and the Jumeirah beach, this place offers several fashion boutiques for the fashion lovers. This place is reminiscent of European Style streets.Things to do besides shopping here: *Usually, there are shows and events taking place in City walk. I had visited the 3D art event and the Japanese food festival held here recently.*One can enjoy great coffee at the cafes and view the magnificent skyline and the Burj Khalifa from here.
