Day 3: Leave by the morning ferry to Santorini. I took the Blue star ferries 7:30 am ship and reached Santorini by 3:30 pm. Check into your hotel and have a relaxed lunch at one of the many fantastic restaurants in Firostefani. Come back to your hotel in time to enjoy the sunset while sipping the delicious Greek Vinsanto wine.
Part of the Cyclades group of the Greek islands, Santorini is famous for its dramatic views, stunning sunsets, the white-washed houses, and its very own active volcano. If you are looking for a combination of beautiful beaches, history, and a truly one-of-a-kind overall urban ambiance. Santorini is one of the best matches in Europe.
Day 7: Keep one day free just to relax and soak in the beauty of Santorini as much as you can. Explore the market in Fira town to buy some souvenirs, marvel at the sunset in Imerovigli and enjoy the lovely food. We were lucky to see a spectacular display of fireworks over the volcano, Nea Kameni, as part of the annual fireworks festival or Iftesia.
